Update Covid-19 Papua, Positif 2107 Kasus

Penularan Covid-19 di Provinsi Papua nampaknya belum menunjukkan tanda-tanda penurunan. Sebaliknya, dalam beberapa hari terakhir angka penambahan positif terpapar virus corona terus terjadi. 

Sampai dengan Kamis (9/7/2020) malam, kasus positif Covid-19 di Papua kini menyentuh angka 2107 kasus. 

Juru Bicara Covid-19 Papua Dr. Silwanus Sumule berharap masyarakat tetap menjalankan protokol pemerintah. Dengan tetap menjaga jarak, memakai masker, menghindari keramaian dan selalu mencuci tangan.

“Sebab hanya dengan cara ini kita bisa mencegah penularan virus tersebut,” terang Silwanus dalam telewicara, Kamis.

Sementara itu, dari 2107 positif Covid-19 di Papua, sebanyak 1022 dirawat, 1063 sembuh dan 22 meninggal.

Kredit khusus diberikan kepada petugas kesehatan, dimana tingkat tingkat kesembuhan di Papua mencapai 50 persen. Sementara angka kematian hanya 1 persen.

Persebaran Covid-19 tertinggi terjadi di Kota Jayapura dengan 1218 kasus positif, 819 dirawat 384 sembuh dan 15 meninggal.

Kabupaten Mimika di urutan kedua dengan 429 kasus, 63 dirawat, 360 sembuh dan 6 meninggal.

Kabupaten Jayapura di urutan ketiga tertinggi dengan 205 kasus, 82 dirawat, 122 sembuh dan 1 meninggal.

Wakil Gubernur Papua Klemen Tinal dalam beberapa kesempatan berharap masyarakat lebih disiplin menjalankan protokol kesehatan, dalam rangka mencegah penularan virus corona. 

“Penularan virus ini belum berakhir, jadi saya minta masyarakat tetap menjaga dirinya agar terhindar dari virus mematikan ini,” imbaunya.

“Because only in this way can we prevent the transmission of the virus, "Silwanus said in a teleconference on Thursday.

Meanwhile, from the 2107 positive Covid-19 in Papua, a total of 1022 were treated, 1063 recovered and 22 died.

Special credits are given to health workers, where the level of healing in Papua reaches 50 percent with mortality rate is only 1 percent.

Covid-19 Highest distribution occurred in Jayapura City with 1218 positive cases, 819 treated, 384 cured and 15 died.

Mimika Regency is the second with 429 cases, 63 treated, 360 recovered and 6 died.

Jayapura Regency in the third highest order with 205 cases, 82 treated, 122 cured and 1 died.

The Deputy Governor of Papua, Klemen Tinal in several occasions hopes more disciplined communities run health protocols, in order to prevent the transmission of corona viruses.

"Transmission of this virus is not over, so I ask the public to keep themselves to avoid this deadly virus” he said.
