Jurnalis Jayapura Bagi Kaos Cara Penanggulangan Penularan Covid-19

Pemerintah provinsi, kabupaten dan kota di Papua saat ini tengah gencar-gencarnya menanggulangi penyebaran virus corona atau Covid-19 melalui sejumlah program dan kebijakan.

Sebagai bentuk kepedulian, kalangan pers di Jayapura juga tak mau ketinggalan apalagi hanya berkontribusi lewat pemberitan.

Teranyar, sejumlah wartawan pun melakukan penggalangan dana secara swadaya dari berbagai sumber, diantaranya Dinas Pendidikan, Perspustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Provinsi Papua.

Dana yang didapatkan itu, kemudian dibuatkan kaos bertuliskan penerapan secara disiplin protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19, lalu dibagikan kepada warga Kota Jayapura.

“Yang pasti ini inisiatif teman-teman pers yang peduli dengan penanggulangan Covid-19. Dimana dari kaos yang dibagikan itu, kami mencoba mengingatkan warga akan pentingnya disiplin menjalankan protokol kesehatan”. 

“Tak sampai disitu, dalam kaos itu kita juga menuliskan langkah-langkah untuk mencegah penyeberan virus tersebut,” terang Ahmad Ginting salah satu jurnalis yang terlibat dalam sosialisasi protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19, sebagaimana rilis yang diterima pers, Minggu.

Qadri Pratiwi, jurnalis wanita yang ikut dalam aksi itu juga berharap kegiatan sosial tersebut dapat dikuti oleh para pihak maupun lembaga lainnya di Jayapura, sebab masih cukup banyak warga yang belum menjalankan protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 secara maksimal.

“Sebab kita yakin kalau semua masyarakat bisa menjalankan protokol kesehatan dengan disiplin, maka penyebaran corona kita doakan bisa menurun,” ucap ia.

Sementara pembagian kaos pencegahan Covid-19 oleh Jurnalis Jayapura menyasar warga yang berada di sejumlah keramaian seperti cafe, tempat wisata, pasar dan lainnya.

"The definite initiative of the journalist is concerned with the countermeasures Covid-19. The T-shirts were distributed, we try to remind citizens of the importance of discipline to run health protocols".

"We also write on the T-shirt the steps to prevent the virus spreading," explained Ahmad Ginting, one of the journalists who was involved in the socialization of the prevention of health protocols Covid-19, as the release received the press, Sunday.

Qadri Pratiwi, the female journalist who participated in the action also hoped that social activities can be involved by the parties or other institutions in Jayapura, because there are still enough residents who have not run the Covid-19 preventive health protocol to the fullest.

"Because we believe that all people can run health protocols with discipline, then the spread of corona we pray can decrease," he said.

While the division of preventive T-shirts Covid-19 by journalist Jayapura is targeting residents who are in a number of crowds such as cafes, tourist attractions, markets and others.
