Calon Sekda Papua Mengerucut Jadi Tiga Nama, Keputusan Kini di Tangan Presiden

Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe mengkonfirmasi telah menerima berkas tiga nama calon Pimpinan Tinggi Madya Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Papua, dari tim seleksi yang diketuai Dirjen Otonomi Daerah Kemendagri.

Tiga calon yang sudah dinyatakan lulus tes akhir tersebut, selanjutnya akan diserahkan ke Tim Penilai Akhir (TPA), yang diketuai Presiden Jokowi melalui Menteri Dalam Negeri. 

“Intinya dari tiga nama yang muncul itu, tim TPA hanya memilih satu orang. Sehingga apa yang diputuskan presiden, itu yang kami akan akui sebagai sekda Papua,” terang Enembe di Kantor Badan Penghubung Pemerintah Provinsi Papua di Jakarta, Senin (13/7/2020).

Diketahui, tiga nama yang lulus tes akhir sebagai calon Sekda Papua tersebut, yakni Doren Wakerkwa, Wasuok Demianus Siep serta Dance Yulian Flassy.

Menurut Lukas, meski dirinya dalam tahap pemulihan pasca menjalani perawatan di Rumah Pusat Angkatan Darat (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto Jakarta, seluruh tahapan seleksi tetap dalam pantauannya. 

Sebab ia berkeinginan kuat agar Pemerintah Provinsi Papua, segera memiliki Sekda definitif, guna  menunjang proses pelaksanaan pembangunan di bumi cenderawasih.

“Karena kedepan di Papua ini akan ada agenda Pilkada. Bahkan, saat ini Papua sedang menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 sehingga butuh kebijakan-kebijakan strategis. Sehingga butuh seorang Sekda”.

“Makanya kita harap dengan adanya sekda definitif, akan ada keputuaan-keputusan terbaik yang membantu pelaksanaan pembangunan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Papua,” harap ia.

Pada kesempatan itu, Lukas berterima kasih kepada tim seleksi yang sudah bekerja keras dan cepat mendorong pelaksanaan hingga mengerucut menjadi tiga nama untuk diserahkan ke Presiden.

Ia juga pada kesempatan itu berterimakasih kepada Penjabat Sekda Papua Ridwan Rumasukun yang ikut bekerja keras mempersiapkan proses seleksi dengan baik, dalam waktu singkat.

The Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe confirms that it has received three candidates for the Regional Secretary, high leader in Papua, from a selection team led by the Director General of Regional Autonomy Ministry of Home Affairs.

Three candidates, who have been declared to pass the final test, will then be handed over to the Final Assessors Team, which is led by the President through the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"The Assessors Team will choose only one person of three candidates as what the President decided, that is what we will acknowledge as the government of Papua, "explained Enembe at the Government Liaison Agency Office of Papua in Jakarta, Monday (July 13^th, 2020).

Unknown, three names passed the final test as the candidate of the Papua government, namely Doren Wakerkwa, Wasuok Demianus Siep and Dance Yulian Flassy.

According to Lukas, although he was in the post-recovery phase of the treatment at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto in Jakarta, all stages of the selection remained in his monitoring.

Because he has a strong desire that the Papua Provincial Government immediately has a definitive Regional Secretary, to support the process of implementing development on the Land of Cenderawasih.

"Because there will be the agenda of elections upcoming. In fact, Papua is facing a Covid-19 pandemic that needs strategic policies. So I need a Regional Secretary".

"So we hope that with the definitive Regional Secretary, there will be best decisions to help the implementation of Community development and welfare in Papua," he wished.

On that occasion, Lukas thanked the selection team who had worked hard and quickly and pushed the execution to the three names to be handed over to the President.

He also thanked the Papuan Regional Secretary, Ridwan Rumasukun who worked hard to prepare the selection process well, in a short time.
