Upacara Peringatan Detik-Detik Proklamasi di Kantor Gubernur Papua Berlangsung Khidmat

Upacara Peringatan Detik-Detik Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia di Halaman Kantor Gubernur Dok II Jayapura, berlangsung khidmat.

Digelar berbeda dengan sebelumnya, yakni secara online dan offline, suasana peringatan detik-detik proklamasi HUT RI ke 75 yang diawali dengan bunyi sirene panjang tersebut juga menerapkan protokol kesehatan dalam baris-berbaris.

Wakil Gubernur Klemen Tinal selaku Inspektur Upacara Perayaan HUT RI Provinsi Papua meyakini, semangat kemerdekaan bakal membawa tanah Papua jauh lebih baik ke depan. 

“Sebab harus di akui bahwa pada usia ke 75 tahun ini, kemajuan sudah sagat terlihat,” terang dia di Jayapura, Senin (17/8/2020)

Sementara meski secara kuantitas perayaan HUT RI tak seramai dibanding sebelumnya akibat Covid, Wagub memastikan hal itu tidak menurunkan kualitas upacara yang dijalankan penuh khidmat dan rasa tanggung jawab. 

Sementara Kapolda Papua Irjen Paulus Waterpauw menilai momentum HUT RI ke 75 patut dihargai dan disyukuri. Sehingga jika masih ada pihak-pihak yang tidak sepaham dengan pembangunan yang sudah berjalan, ia berharap mereka segera menyadari.

“Tidak masalah (kalau ada yang belum sepahaman dengan pembangunan yang sudah dilakukan. Yang penting segera saja sadari sebab 75 tahun kemerdekaan RI merupakan batu loncatan untuk mencapai cita-cita leluhur bangsa yakni, mencapai masyarakat yang adil dan makmur,“ kata Kapolda.

Ia akui, memang saat ini di Papua masih ada persoalan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat. Kendati demikian, hal itu merupakan tanggung jawab bersama untuk diselesaikan dengan baik. 

“Sejauh ini situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat di Papua dalam keadaan relatif aman terkendali, meskipun sebelumnya ada peringatan perjanjian New York”. 

“Tapi pada intinya beberapa wilayah yang sebelumnya sering terjadi tindak-tindak kekerasan, saat ini tidak terjadi,” pungkasnya.

The Commemoration Ceremony of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Governor's Office Dok II Jayapura was solemn.

The Deputy Governor of Klemen Tinal as the ceremony Inspector believes that the spirit of independence will bring the land of Papua much better forward.

"For the reason to admit of 75 this year, great progress has been seen," he explained in Jayapura, Monday (August 17, 2020)

While in quantity the celebration of the Indonesia Independence Day is not as crowded as the previous result of Covid, The Deputy Governor ensures it does not degrade the quality of the ceremony that is fully executed and a sense of responsibility.

While Papua Inspector General of Police Chief Paulus Waterpauw rate The momentum of the ANNIVERSARY RI to 75 is valued and grateful. So if there are still parties that are not as important as the development that is already running, he hopes they immediately realized.

"No problem if there is no understanding of development already done. The important thing is immediately realized because the 75 years of independence RI is a stepping stone to reach the ideals of the nation's ancestors, namely, reaching a fair and prosperous society, "said head of police region

He admits that in Papua there is still a matter of public security and order. Nevertheless, it is a shared responsibility to be resolved properly.

"So far, the situation of community safety and order in Papua is relatively safe in control, despite the prior warning of the New York treaty".

"But in essence some of the areas that had previously occurred violent acts, this time is not happening," he concluded.
