Wagub : Seluruh OPD Pemprov Papua Segera Lakukan Tes Swab

Wakil Gubernur Papua Klemen Tinal menginstruksikan pimpinan organisasi perangkat daerah (OPD) di lingkungan pemerintah provinsi, guna melakukan tes swab masal di masing-masing kantornya, mulai Senin pekan depan.

Hal tersebut untuk mencegah munculnya klaster baru Covid-19 di area perkantoran pemerintah provinsi.

“Kita tidak boleh lalai sehingga muncul klaster baru. Makanya kami minta kepada semua pimpinan instansi (Provinsi Papua) secara proaktif mulai Senin (pekan depan), melakukan tes Swab (kepada seluruh stafnya).

“Bisa melakukan tes Swab sendiri atau menghubungi pihak Satgas Covid-19 Papua. Intinya kita cegah jangan sampai ada klaster perkantoran,” terang Wagub Klemen Tinal, disela-sela Rapat Persiapan Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru Masyarakat Produkti Maan Covid-19 Tahap II di Provinsi Papua, Kamis (27/8/2020), di Jayapura.

Ia katakan, melalui hasil elvaluasi selama dua kali masa pandemi, yakni sejak 28 Juli hingga saat ini, terlihat secara umum ada kemajuan yang signifikan dalam pencegahan maupun penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Papua.

Dimana ada terjadi penurunan kasus dan tingkat kesembuhan Covid yang tinggi di berbagai wilayah, termasuk Kota Jayapura.  

Oleh karenanya, pihaknya berharap agar seluruh mitra kerja, baik di provinsi hingga kabupaten dan kota, turut melakukan tes swab secara masal. Dengan begitu, semua pihak telah memastikan bahwa kantor yang memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, sudah terbebas dari virus corona.

Wagub pada keempatan itu mengingatkan seluruh agar tetap disiplin dan menjalankan protokol kesehatan. Dengan demikian dia berharap dalam beberapa saat lagi, seluruh wilayah di Papua sudah bisa memasuki adaptasi hidup normal, selanjutnya masuk kepada era normal baru.

Deputy Governor of Papua, Klemen Tinal instructed the head of regional apparatus organization (OPD) in the provincial government to conduct mass swab tests in each of his offices, starting Monday next week.

This prevents the emergence of new clusters of Covid-19 in provincial government office areas.

“We must not be negligent so that a new cluster appears. That's why we ask all agency leaders (Papua Province) to proactively start Monday (next week), to conduct a Swab test (for all their staff). Do swab test by yourself or contact Papua Covid-19 Task Force. The point is we prevent there from getting an office cluster," explained Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal, interrupted by the Preparatory Meeting preparing for the adaptation of new habits Phase II in Papua Province, Thursday (August 27, 2020), in Jayapura.

He said that through the results of the evaluation during the second period, from July 28 to the present, it has generally been significant progress in the prevention and handling of Covid-19 in Papua Province. There is a decrease in cases and high rates of Covid recovery in various regions, including Jayapura City.

Therefore, it hopes that all partners, both in provinces and districts and cities will conduct mass swab tests. That way, all parties have ensured that the office that provides services to the community has been freed from the coronavirus.

The Deputy Governor reminded the whole to stay disciplined and carry out health protocols. Thus he hopes that in a few moments, the entire region in Papua can already enter the adaptation of normal life, and then enter into a new normal era.
