2020, Papua Biayai 3 Program Beasiswa Otsus

Pemerintah Provinsi Papua tahun ini membiayai 3 program Beasiswa Afirmasi Otonomi Khusus (Otsus) bagi pelajar dan mahasiswa asli Papua.

Ketiga program itu adalah Beasiswa Siswa Unggul Papua (SUP) untuk pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), Beasiswa Siswa Unggul Papua (SUP) Bidang Vokasi bagi pelajar Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan (SMK) dan Beasiswa Dokter Spesialis Afirmasi Otsus Papua 2020 untuk dokter-dokter orang asli Papua (OAP) yang bertugas di seluruh Tanah Papua.

Kepala Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Papua, Aryoko AF Rumaropen,SP.M.Eng, Kamis petang (10/9/2020) kepada pers mengatakan ketiga program ini merupakan kebijakan Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe,SIP.MH dan Wakil Gubernur Klemen Tinal,SE.MM dalam rangka menyiapkan sumber daya manusia asli Papua yang unggul, cerdas dan menguasai Ilmu Pengetahuan Dan Teknologi (Iptek) serta berbudi pekerti yang baik.

"Ini sejalan dengan visi dan misi  Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua membangun dan menyiapkan SDM asli Papua untuk membangun masyarakat dan negerinya,"ujar Aryoko Rumaropen.

Dijelaskannya, program Beasiswa SUP untuk SMA dan Beasiswa SUP Bidang Vokasi SMK dikhususkan bagi OAP yang bermarga asli dari suku-suku di Papua untuk melanjutkan pendidikan (kuliah) keluar negeri.

Sedangkan Beasiswa Dokter Spesialis Afirmasi Otsus Papua 2020 diadakan untuk mahasiswa/mahasiswi asli Papua yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan sarjana kedokteran serta telah lulus sertifikasi dan registrasi profesi sebagai dokter yang telah mengabdi sedikitnya selama satu tahun di wilayah Provinsi Papua.

Menurut Kepala BPSDM, tahapan seleksi administrasi untuk program beasiswa SMA  dan dokter spesialis sudah dilaksanakan. Dan hasilnya, terdapat 471 pelajar SMA  dan 112 dokter dari seluruh Papua yang dinyatakan lulus administrasi.

“Sampai dengan hari ini, untuk program beasiswa SMA sudah dilakukan tahapan seleksi administrasi dan kurang lebih  471 pelajar dari seluruh Papua dinyatakan lulus. Begitupun untuk beasiswa dokter spesialis sebanyak 112 dokter dinyatakan lulus,”jelasnya.

Sedangkan program Beasiswa Vokasi SMK masih dalam tahap pendaftaran dan seleksi administrasi.“Proses pendaftaran dan seleksi dilakukan dibuka untuk seluruh wilayah di Papua secara online.”

Dia menjelaskan bahwa rekrutmen dan seleksi pelajar SMA dilakukan dalam satu tahapan. Usai seleksi administrasi, mereka memasuki proses pembinaan guna menjalani pendidikan diluar negeri. “Apabila di proses tersebut, ada pelajar yang tidak siap maka yang bersangkutan akan difasilitasi untuk kuliah di dalam negeri,”kata Aryoko.

Samahalnya dengan program Beasiswa Vokasi SMK. Hanya saja, lanjut Aryoko Rumaropen, program vokasi SMK ini bekerjasama dengan lembaga pengembangan vokasi di Australia sehingga para pelajar SMK Papua bakal menjalani pendidikan dan pelatihan vokasi di negara berjuluk negeri Kangguru itu.

M.Eng, Thursday (Sept. 10, 2020) told the press that these three programs are the policy of Papua Governor Lukas Enembe,SIP. MH and Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal,SE. MM in order to prepare Papuan human resources that are superior, intelligent and mastering Science And Technology (Science) and good behavior.

"This is in line with the vision and mission of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua to develop and prepare indigenous Papuan human resources to develop their society and country, "said Aryoko Rumaropen.

He explained that the SUP Scholarship program for high school and VOCATIONAL SUP Scholarship for vocational school is devoted to OAP with native dignity from tribes in Papua to continue their study abroad.

While the Special Autonomy Papua Affirmation Specialist Scholarship 2020 is held for Papuan students who have completed their medical degree and have passed the certification and registration of the profession as a doctor who has served for at least one year in the Papua Province.

According to the Head of BPSDM, the administrative selection stage for high school scholarship programs and specialists has been implemented. And as a result, there are 471 high school students and 112 doctors from all over Papua who are declared to have graduated from administration.

"To this day, the high school scholarship program has been conducted at the administrative selection stage and approximately 471 students from all over Papua have been declared graduates. Even for a specialist scholarship as many as 112 doctors were declared graduates," he explained.

Meanwhile, the vocational scholarship program is still in the registration and administrative selection stage." The registration and selection process is opened to all regions in Papua online."

He explained that the recruitment and selection of high school students is done at one stage. After administration selection, they entered the coaching process to undergo an education abroad. "If in the process, there are students who are not ready they will be facilitated to study domestically,"Said Aryoko.

The same is the vocational scholarship program. However, continued Aryoko Rumaropen, this vocational program in collaboration with vocational development institutions in Australia so that Papuan vocational school students will undergo vocational education and training in Australia.
