Pjs. Bupati Keerom Berhasil Bujuk Tenaga Medis Buka Palang Dinas Kesehatan

Baru dua hari bertugas, sejumlah gebrakan dibuat Pejabat Sementara (Pjs) Bupati Keerom, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun di wilayah pecahan dari Kabupaten Jayapura tersebut. 

Salah satunya, Ia berhasil membujuk para tenaga kesehatan untuk membuka pemalangan di Kantor Dinas Kesehatan setempat, yang dilakukan sejak 3 Februari 2020 lalu.

Berdiskusi hampir sekitar 1 jam dengan tenaga kesehatan, Rabu (30/9/2020) pagi, akhirnya mereka bersedia membuka palang kantor, usai penunjukkan Franklin Uriyagir sebagai Plt. Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Keerom menggantikan pejabat sebelumnya.

Ridwan pun berjanji kepada para tenaga kesehatan, untuk mencarikan solusi terhadap semua hal yang dikeluhkan itu.

“Tentunya seluruh keluhan itu kita inventarisir dulu. Nanti di musyawarahkan bersama Plt. Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Keerom dulu. Selanjutnya apa yang dihasilkan itu dilaporkan ke saya,” terang Ridwan.

Dengan telah terbukanya komunikasi antara pemerintah dan para tenaga kesehatan, diharapkan kualitas pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Keerom dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi.

Karena pelayanan publik, lanjut dia, harus terus berjalan sebagaimana mestinya, sebab masyarakat sangat membutuhkannya.

“Pembukaan kantor dinas kesehatan di Keerom ini nantinya akan diikuti dengan pembukaan lima Puskesmas yang sebelumnya ditutup tenaga kesehatan”. 

“Dan itulah harapannya agar semua Puskesmas harus buka kembali seperti semula, begitu pula kegiatan di dinas kesehatan harus jalan dan utamanya pelayanan kesehatan di Keerom bisa berjalan sebagaimana mestinya,”pungkas ia.

Diketahui, Kantor Dinas Kesehatan Keerom dipaang sejumlah tenaga medis setempat sejak 3 Februari 2020. Mereka menutup kantor itu sebagai bentuk protes atas kebijakan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Keerom Rony Situmorang yang menghapus bantuan operasional pusat kesehatan masyarakat (Puskesmas) sejak 2018 lalu.

Just two days into his stint, a number of breakthroughs were made by the Interim (Pjs) Regent of Keerom, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun in the fractional region of Jayapura Regency.

One of them, he managed to persuade health workers to open a meeting at the local Health Office, which was conducted since February 3, 2020.

The discussion took almost 1 hour with health workers, Wednesday (9/30/2020) morning, finally they were willing to open an office bar, after the appointment of Franklin Uriyagir as the Head of Keerom Health Office replaced the previous official.

Ridwan also promised health workers to find a solution to all that complained about.

"All complaints will be inventoried first and will be discussed with Plt. The head of the Keerom Health Service first then reported the results to me," explained Ridwan.

By the open communication between the government and health workers, it is hoped that the quality of public services in Keerom Regency can be further improved because the public service must continue as it should be, the public desperately needs it.

"The opening of the health office in Keerom will be followed by the opening of five health centers that were previously closed by health workers".

"And that is the hope that all Public Health Centers must reopen as before, as well as activities in the health department must run and especially health services in Keerom can run properly," he concluded. 

It is known that the Keerom Health Office was closed by a number of local medical personnel since February 3, 2020. They closed the office as a form of protest at the policy of the Head of the Keerom Health Service, Rony Situmorang, which has removed operational assistance from the Public Health Center since 2018.
