Kantor Disnaker Keerom Dibakar, Bupati Ridwan Serahkan ke Aparat Keamanan

Kantor Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker) Kabupaten Keerom, Kamis (1/10/2020) dibakar sejumlah massa yang tak puas dengan hasil perekrutan CPNS Formasi 2018 di Kabupaten Keerom. 

Penjabat Sementara (PJS) Bupati Kabupaten Keerom Ridwan Rumasukun menyerahkan sepenuhnya kasus tersebut kepada aparat keamanan.

Ia pun segera mengumpulkan Forkopimda setempat guna membahas penyelesaian masalah tersebut.

“Saat ini situasi di Keerom sudah kembali normal. Massa informasinya sudah kembali pulang,” kata Rumasukun via telepon selularnya, Kamis (01/10/2020). 

Asisten III Setda Keerom, Irwan memastikan pembakaran kantor akibat tak puas dengan hasil CPNS.

“Iya benar, (pembakaran) itu karena tidak terima tidak lusus CPNS, dimana pada hari ini (Kamis) Pemerintah Kabupaten Keerom mengumumkan hasil penerimaan CPNS Formasi 2018 secara daring,” ucap ia.

Irwan tambahkan pengumuman ini sebenarnya sempat tertunda selama empat bulan karena berbagai hambatan.

Irwan yang berada di lokasi kejadian menyebut saat ini massa masih berada di sekitar lokasi kejadian, di Distrik Arso Kota.

“Massa masih beristirahat, mungkin masih mau lanjut atau tidak, kita juga pusing,” kata dia.

Dari informasi lapangan, massa yang berjumlah sekitar seratusan orang melakukan aksi sekitar pukul 16.45 wit.

Aparat yang berada di lokasi kejadian tidak bisa membendung aksi massa karena kalah jumlah.

Hingga kini ruas jalan menuju Arso Kota masih ditutup massa.

Kapolda Papua Irjen Pol. Paulus Waterpauw mengatakan, aksi pengrusakan dan pembakaran itu terjadi sekitar pukul 15.30 WIT. Untungnya tak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden itu.

“Tadi dilakukan oleh massa terutama para pencari kerja yang tidak menerima pengumuman CPNS di website. Awalnya mereka melakukan pelemparan lalu berujung pembakaran,” katanya.

Ia pun memastikan bakal memproses hukum para pelaku yang terlibat dalam insiden pembakaran tersebut. 

“Saya prihatin dengan kejadian seperti itu, main bakar saja, apa maksud mereka. Kami akan tetap proses hukum untuk mencari para pelaku,” tegasnya.

Acting Interim Regent (interim) Keerom, Ridwan Rumasukun handed the case over to the security forces.

He immediately gathered the local Forkopimda to discuss resolving the issue.

"Now the situation in Keerom is back to normal. The information mass is back home," Rumasukun said by phone, Thursday (01/10/2020).

Assistant III Regional Secretariat Keerom, Irwan, told reporters on phone confirmed the burning of the office due to dissatisfaction with the Civil Servant Candidate results.

"The burning was because of rejection of the Civil Servant Candidate results, the Keerom District Government announced the results of the acceptance of Civil Servant Candidate Formation 2018 by online," he said.

The announcement was actually delayed by four months due to various obstacles.

Irwan, who was at the scene, said the mob was still in the vicinity of the scene, in Arso District.

"The masses are still resting, maybe we want to move on or not, we're dizzy too," he said.

From the field information, a crowd of about a hundred people performed the action around 4:45 p.m.

Officers at the scene were unable to stem the mass action due to being outnumbered.

Until now, the road to Arso is still closed to the masses.

Papua Police Chief Irjen Pol. Paul Waterpauw said the act of destruction and arson occurred around 3:30 p.m. fortunately there were no fatalities in the incident.

"It was done by the masses, especially the job seekers who did not receive the Civil Servant Candidate announcement on the website. At first they did the throwing and then ended up burning," he said.

He also confirmed that he would process the laws of the perpetrators involved in the arson incident.

"I'm concerned about incidents like that, just burn them, what they mean. We will continue the legal process to find the perpetrators," he said.
