Telkom Garansi Jaringan TIK, Lancar Sepanjang Pelaksanaan PON XX Papua

PT Telkom Indonesia memberikan jaminan ketersediaan jaringan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang mumpuni sepanjang pelaksanaan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX Papua 2021.

Garansi itu disampaikan General Manager Local Government Service Telkom Yanto Setiawan dihadapan rombongan PB PON Papua yang dimpimpin Sekretaris Umum (Sekum) Elia Loupatty.

Pertemuan berlangsung di Living Lab. Smart City, Gunung Sahari, Jakarta pusat, Rabu, (4/11/2020). Turut hadir Kepala Dinas Kominfo Papua, Jery A. Yudianto serta Sekretaris Bidang Humas dan PPM PON XX Papua Kadkis Matdoan.

“Telkom siap memasok infrastruktur TIK sepanjang perhelatan PON XX di Papua sebab PON itu iven nasional. Intinya kami sebagai BUMN harus siap, bahkan satu bulan sebelum pelaksanaan PON, fasilitas infrastruktur pendukung sudah akan disiapkan,” terang dia. 

Kendati demikian, Yanto katakan, dalam beberapa waktu mendatang  PB PON Papua dan PT Telkom mesti duduk kembali lagi untuk membahas semua keperluan jaringan Telkom yang bakal disambungkan ke venue.

Sebab PT Telkom sendiri juga sudah mengalokasikan anggaran pembangunan infraruktur jaringan ke venue PON.

“Namun untuk eksekusi anggarannya masih menunggu dari pimpinan. Dengan begitu kita mau sampaikan bahwa pada prinsipnya kami siap, sebagai BUMN Telkom Group layak turut menyukseskan pesta olahraga empat tahunan ini,” tegas ia.

Sekretaris Umum PB PON Papua, Elia Loupatty mengapresiasi semangat dari pihak Telkom untuk mensukseskan iven empat tahunan itu.

“Yang pasti kita kesini ingin supaya ada jaminan ketersediaan fasilitas telekomunikasi. Baik di Stadion Lukas Enembe sebagai tempat upacara pembukaan dan penutupan PON maupun venue di masing-masing klaster,” tegasnya.

Loupatty tambahkan, PB PON Papua sudah menerima Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) yang dikirim PT Telkom. Namun, pihaknya berharap PT Telkom maupun PT. PLN wajib siap satu bulan sebelum pelaksanaan PON. 

“Ini karena teman-teman dari bidang lain di PB PON harus menyediakan fasilitas pendukung lainnya di masing-masing venue,” tandasnya. 

Diketahui, agenda PON XX Papua akan berlangsung pada 2-14 Oktober 2021.

PT Telkom Indonesia guarantees the availability of a capable Information and Communication Technology (ICT) network throughout the implementation of National Sports Week (PON) XX Papua 2021.

The guarantee was delivered by Local Government Service General Manager Telkom Yanto Setiawan in front of the National Sports Week Committee group led by General Secretary Elia Loupatty.

The meeting took place at the Living Lab. Smart City, Gunung Sahari, central Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11/2020). Also present was the Head of Papua Community Office, Jery A. Yudianto and Secretary of Public Relations and PPM PON XX Papua Kadkis Matdoan.

"Telkom is ready to supply ICT infrastructure throughout the National Sports Week event in Papua because PON is a national event. In essence as SOEs we must be ready, even one month before the implementation of National Sports Week, supporting infrastructure facilities will already be prepared," he explained.

Nevertheless, Yanto said, in the future National Sports Week Committee Papua and PT Telkom should discuss all the needs of the Telkom network that will be connected to the venue.

PT Telkom has also allocated the network infrastructure development budget to the National Sports Week venue.

"But the budget is still waiting for the leadership. That way we want to say that in principle we are ready, as the SOE of Telkom Group deserves to make this four-yearly sports party," he said.

General Secretary of National Sports Week Committee Papua, Elia Loupatty appreciated the spirit of Telkom to succeed the four-yearly event.

"We definitely want to be here so that there is a guarantee of the availability of telecommunication facilities. Both at Lukas Enembe Stadium as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of National Sports Week and the venues in each cluster," he said.

Loupatty added, National Sports Week Committee Papua has received the Budget Plan (RAB) sent by PT Telkom. However, it expects both PT Telkom and PT PLN must be ready one month before the implementation of National Sports Week.

"This is because friends from other fields in the National Sports Week Committee have to provide other supporting facilities at each venue," he said.

Known, National Sports Week  XX Papua agenda will take place on October 2-14, 2021.
