Tak Ada Jaringan Telekomunikasi, Sejumlah Kampung di Keerom Belum Terima Bantuan Covid

Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) Bupati Keerom, Dr. Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, SE, MM memastikan sejumlah kampung di wilayahnya belum menerima bantuan sosial Covid-19. 

Hal demikian akibat tak adanya jaringan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, yang mana bantuan itu disalurkan lewat Bank Mandiri.

“Makanya kita berharap segera ada pembangunan jaringan telekomunikasi di kawasan terluar. Sebab di Keerom ini cukup banyak kampung di kawasan terluar dan kini sedang menyelenggarakan Pilkada,” terang ia, Rabu (11/11/2020).

Ridwan katakan, saat ini pihak KPU cukup kesulitan sangat dalam menyampaikan laporan terkait pemungutan suara. Kesulitan yang sama juga dialami aparat keamanan serta pihak terkait lainnya.

Oleh karena itu, pihaknya berniat mengirim surat kepada Presiden Joko Widodo terkait masih minimnya jaringan TIK di beberapa kawasan terluar di kabupaten tersebut. Beberapa distrik yang berada di wilayah terluat diantaranya, Senggi, Web, Yaffi dan Towe. Akibatnya, sejumlah urusan pemerintahan pun menjadi terhambat.  

"Saya sudah menyurat ke presiden mengenai belum meratanya pembangunan jaringan telekomunikasi di Keerom, seperti Senggi yang saya sudah datangi langsung”.

“Daerah-daerah tersebut termasuk dalam kawasan terluar, tertinggal dan terdepan (3T) yang seharusnya menjadi wilayah yang masuk dalam prioritas pembangunan,” ujar ia.

Sebelumnya, pertemuan dengan Pjs Bupati Keerom pada Selasa (10/11/2020), telah bertemu pihak Telkomsel untuk mendorong pemasangan jaringan di wilayah terluar. 

Hanya saja, untuk memasang jaringan 4G seperti di Distrik Senggi, Telkomsel terkendala dengan keberdaan bukit-bukit yang menghalangi sinyal karena mereka masih menggunakan teknologi radio.

Sementara jaringan Palapa Ring terdekat berada di Distrik Waris pun belum bisa dimanfaatkan hingga Senggi karena keberadaan bukit-bukit yang cukup tinggi.

Regent of Keerom, Dr. Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, SE, MM ensured that a number of villages in his area had not received Covid-19 social assistance.

This is because there is no information and communication technology network that is channeled through Mandiri Bank.

"That's why we hope there will be the construction of telecommunications networks in the outermost areas. Because in Keerom, there are a lot of villages in the outermost areas and are now holding elections," he explained, Wednesday (11/11/2020).

Ridwan said, currently the General Election Commission (KPU) party has quite difficulty in delivering reports related to the vote. The same difficulties are also experienced by the security forces as well as other relevant parties. 

Therefore, it intends to send a letter to President Joko Widodo regarding the lack of ICT networks in some of the outermost areas of the district. Some districts in the most areas include Senggi, Web, Yaffi and Towe. As a result, a number of government affairs were hampered. 

"I have told the President about the uneven construction of telecommunications networks in Keerom, such as Senggi which I have visited directly".

"These areas are included in the outermost, disadvantaged and leading areas (3T) which should be areas that are included in the development priorities," he said.

Previously, a meeting with the Regent of Keerom on Tuesday (10/11/2020), had met Telkomsel to encourage the installation of networks in the outer regions.

It's just that, to install a 4G network like in Senggi District, Telkomsel is constrained by the leafy hills that block the signal because they still use radio technology.

While the nearest the Palapa Ring network is located in Waris District cannot be utilized until Senggi because of the presence of hills.
