Persiapan panitia pelaksanaan Chef de Mission (CdM) Meeting II, pada 7 s/d 10 April 2021 di Suni Garden Lake Hotel and Resort, Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura, dipastikan telah rampung 70 persen.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Ketua Panitia CDM Meeting II Yusuf Yambe Yabdi kepada pers di Jayapura, Rabu (31/3/2021).
“Persiapan terus kita lakukan Kamis besok akan ada simulasi penjemputan di Bandara Sentani Jayapura, dimana penanggung jawab adalah Danlanud Jayapura”.
“Pastinya kita optimis pagelaran CDM Meeting II ini akan sukses sebab para pelaksanannya sudah cukup berpengalaman atau expert dibidangnya,” terang ia.
Yusuf memastikan CDM Meeting II akan dibuka secara resmi oleh Gubernur Papua, yang pada kesempatan itu akan menyampaikan sambutan umum terkait kesiapan PON XX 2021, sekaligus respon maupun tindaklanjut dari Rapat Terbatas (Ratas) bersama Presiden Jokowi, beberapa pekan lalu.
Kegiatan tersebut juga bakal dihadiri Menko PMK, Menko Maritim, Menpora bahkan Pejabat KSP, yang dalam kesempatan itu akan menyampaikan sambutan maupun paparan.
“Kemudian didalam CDM Meeting ini kita akan selipkan acara penyerahan bendera PON XX 2021 oleh Gubernur Papua kepada tiga bupati (Kabupaten Jayapura, Mimika dan Merauke) dan Walikota Jayapura”.
“Penyerahan ini menandakan empat kepala daerah itu akan bekerja sebagai Sub PB PON, didalam mempersiapkan iven empat tahunan tersebut,” pungkasnya.
Diketahui, dalam pelaksanaan CDM Meeting II di Papua, pihak panitia membatasi masing-masing KONI Provinsi mengirim maksimal tiga peserta dengan mengantongi tes swab/antigen COVID-19.
Pelaksanaan rapat juga dipastikan menerapkan protokol kesehatan penuh, guna menghindari penularan virus corona.

This was conveyed by chairman of CDM Meeting II Committee Yusuf Yambe Yabdi to the press in Jayapura, Wednesday (31/3/2021).
"Preparations continue on Thursday tomorrow there will be a simulation of pick-up at Sentani Airport Jayapura, where the person in charge is Airbase Commander of Jayapura".
"Surely we are optimistic that the CDM Meeting II will be successful because the implementation is experienced enough or expert in their field," he explained.
Yusuf ensured that CDM Meeting II will be officially opened by the Governor of Papua, who on that occasion will deliver a public welcome related to the readiness of National Sports Week XX 2021, as well as the response and follow-up of the Limited Meeting with President Jokowi, a few weeks ago.
The event will also be attended by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime, Ministry of Youth and Sports and even KSP Officials, who on that occasion will deliver speeches and exposures.
"Then in this CDM Meeting we will hold a flag handover event of National Sports Week XX 2021 by the Governor of Papua to three regents (Jayapura, Mimika and Merauke districts) and the Mayor of Jayapura".
"This submission indicates that the four regional heads will work as National Sports Week Committee, in preparing the four-yearly event," he concluded.
It is known that in the implementation of CDM Meeting II in Papua, the committee limited each Provincial KONI to sending a maximum of three participants by bringing a swab test / antigen COVID-19.
The implementation of the meeting is also ensured to implement full health protocols, in order to avoid the transmission of Coronavirus.
