NTT Tak Hadiri CDM Meeting Karena Bencana Alam

Panitia Besar Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PB PON) XX Papua memastikan penyelenggaraan Chef de Mission (CdM) Meeting II (PON XX Papua 2021 tanpa Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur.  

Ketua Panitia CdM Meeting II PON XX Papua, Yusuf Yambe Yabdi menginformasikan Ketidakhadiran perwakilan kontingen NTT pada CdM II ini disebabkan bencana banjir yang melanda daerah itu.

“Jadi CDM ke-II ini tidak dapat dihadiri oleh perwakilan NTT karena bencana alam. Tapi akan mengikuti secara virtual” ujar Yusuf didampingi  Panitia Pengawas dan Pengarah (Panwasrah) PON XX Mayjen TNI (Purn) Suwarno dan Koordinator Humas dan PPM CdM Meeting II, Kadkis A Matdoan saat jumpa pers, Selasa malam (06/04/2021) di Hotel Suni Garden, Sentani, Jayapura.

“Atas nama Ketua Umum PB PON dan masyarakat Papua, Yusuf menyampaikan duka cita dan mendoakan masyarakat di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) dikuatkan menghadapi bencana banjir yang melanda daerah tersebut,” kata ia.

Dia mengatakan pelaksanaan CdM II siap digelar dan diharapkan rapat ini memotivasi para ketua kontingen PON dari seluruh Indonesia mempersiapkan diri mengikuti iven olahraga terakbar di Nusantara.

Pertama acara CdM-nya siap digelar dan kedua persiapan progres PON yang harus disampaikan kepada seluruh CdM dari seluruh provinsi. Kami menyampaikan apresiasi kepada tim KONI Pusat yang telah membantu kami dalam penyelenggaraan CdM maupun PON nanti.

Ketua Panwasrah PON XX Papua, Mayjen TNI (Purn) Suwarno menerangkan CdM merupakan tahapan menjelang penyelenggaraan PON yang kerap dilakukan untuk membahas berbagai layanan dan kesiapan tuan rumah PON.

Suwarno jelaskan pentingnya CdM dalam memberikan informasi teknis dan rinci. CdM akan membahas tentang informasi rinci terkait pertandingan, upacara seremoni, pelayanan (akomodasi, transportasi, kesehatan dan sebagainya) dari PB PON XX.

Khusus mengenai protokol kesehatan, Suwarno menegaskan  bahwa seluruh atlet, official yang datang ke Papua wajib vaksin dan wajib mengikuti prosedur protokol kesehatan diantaranya menjalani tes Swab PCR, Antigen.

The Grand Committee of National Sports Week XX of Papua ensured the implementation of Chef de Mission (CdM) Meeting II National Sports Week XX Papua 2021 without East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Chairman of CdM II National Sports Week XX Papua, Yusuf Yambe Yabdi informed the absence of NTT contingent representatives on CdM II due to the flood disaster that hit the area.

"So this second CdM cannot be attended by NTT representatives because of natural disasters. But they will follow virtually" said Yusuf accompanied by the Committee of the board of trustees of National Sports Week XX Maj. Gen. TNI (Purn) Suwarno and Coordinator of Public Relations and PPM CdM Meeting II, Kadkis A Matdoan during a press conference, Tuesday night (06/04/2021) at The Suni Garden Hotel, Sentani, Jayapura.

"On behalf of the Chairman of National Sports Week Committee and the people of Papua, Yusuf expressed his condolences and prayed for the people in NTT to be strengthened in the face of the flood disaster that hit the area," he said.

He said the implementation of CdM II is ready to be held and it is expected that this meeting motivates National Sports Week contingent leaders from all over Indonesia to prepare for the largest sports event.

The first CdM event is ready to be held and the second preparation of National Sports Week progress that must be delivered to all CdM from all provinces. We express our appreciation to the Central KONI team who have helped us in the implementation of CdM and National Sports Week.

Chairman of the board of trustees of National Sports Week XX Papua, Maj. Gen. TNI (Purn) Suwarno explained that CdM is a stage leading up to the implementation of National Sports Week which is often done to discuss various services and readiness of the National Sports Week hosts.
