The Papua Provincial Government requires the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) system for 50 percent of government, state-owned and private office workers, as well as the rules of enforcement of Public Health Protocol Discipline Enforcement.
This rule comes into force from February 17, 2021 as the contents of Circular Letter No. 440/1877/SET concerning Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols in Papua province, signed by the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe.
Nevertheless, Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols rules in fact still provide opportunities for offices for employees to work from office (WFO) above 50 percent.
"It's just that for all employees to enter the office must get permission from the Task Force COVID-19 Papua Province," explained the head of the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua Jery A. Yudianto in Jayapura, Friday.
Similarly, for government, state-owned and private office activities in the form of meetings, meetings, workshops and seminars that are obliged to limit the number of participants to 50 percent of the room capacity.
"Because there can be sanctions for institutions and institutions that violate the health protocol as stipulated by Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols rules," he said.
Jery hopes that all elements of the government and private sector in Papua can support the policy of implementing Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols.
It is intended that efforts to prevent, control and enforce the discipline of health protocols in Papua in the future can run as expected and pandemic can be minimized.
