JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has reported that its regional budget realization reached 78 percent as of early November 2025. The government remains optimistic that all development programs will be completed on time by the end of the year.
Papua Deputy Governor Aryoko Rumaropen said the achievement reflects the positive performance of the provincial administration. In addition to the high budget absorption rate, the physical progress of development projects has also surpassed 85 percent.
“Financial and physical progress are moving in balance. We hope that within the next month and a half, the target will approach 100 percent,” Aryoko said in Jayapura on Friday (November 7, 2025).
According to Aryoko, the government is currently focused on ensuring that each Regional Apparatus Organization optimizes the remaining implementation period. Internal budget control is being conducted within each working unit to ensure that program execution remains measurable and aligned with the plan.
“We have entered the 11th month of the 2025 fiscal year. Therefore, the remaining time must be utilized to the fullest so that tangible results can be seen in the field,” he added.
He emphasized that maintaining a balance between financial and physical progress remains a key commitment of the Papua Provincial Government as part of its efforts to strengthen governance and enhance the quality of public services across the region. ***
