BPS Papua : Volume Barang Dimuat Lewat Angkutan Laut Turun 37,97 Persen

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Papua mencatat volume barang yang dimuat lewat angkutan laut dalam negeri pada Juli 2020, sebesar 12.049 ton atau menurun 37,97 persen dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya, 19.423 ton. 

Untuk Pelabuhan Jayapura, menurut Kepala BPS Papua Adriana Robaha, volume muat barang sebesar 10.049 ton.

Sementara di Pelabuhan Merauke, volume muat barang tercatat sebesar 2.000 ton. 

“Namuan untuk volume barang yang dimuat sejak Januari-Juli 2020 sebesar 118.796 ton atau meningkat 66,89 persen bila dibandingkan dengan Januari-Juli 2019 sebesar 71.184 ton”. 

“Hal itu dipengaruhi meningkatnya volume barang yang dimuat di Pelabuhan Jayapura sebesar  40,5 persen dan di Pelabuhan Merauke sebesar 168,62 persen,” terang Adriana.

Sementara untuk volume  barang yang dibongkar pada Juli 2020, lanjut dia, sebesar 94.369 ton atau meningkat 10,48 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya, 85.414 ton. 

Khusus di Pelabuhan Jayapura, volume bongkar barang  pada Juli 2020 tercatat sebesar 75.661 ton. Sementara di Pelabuhan  Merauke, volume bongkar barang tercatat sebesar 18.708 ton. 

“Sedangkan volume bongkar barang di Pelabuhan Jayapura dan Pelabuhan Merauke pada Januari-Juli 2020 sebesar 746.095 ton atau menurun 3,78 persen bila dibandingkan Januari-Juli 2019 yang sebesar 775.407 ton,” kata ia.

Beralih ke jumlah penumpang yang berangkat menggunakan angkutan laut dalam negeri, tambah dia, pada Juli  2020 tercatat sebanyak 7.758 orang atau meningkat 139,96 persen dibanding Juni 2020 yang sebanyak 3.233 orang.  

Sedangkan jumlah penumpang yang datang dengan menggunakan angkutan laut dalam negeri pada Juli  2020 tercatat sebanyak3.797 orang  atau meningkat 206,21 persen bila dibandingkan Juni 2020 yang  sebanyak 1.240 orang.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Papua Province recorded the volume of goods loaded through domestic water transportation in July 2020, amounting to 12,049 tons or decreased by 37.97 percent compared to the previous month, 19,423 tons.

For Jayapura Port, according to Head of Papua Central Bureau of Statistics Adriana Robaha, the load volume of goods is 10,049 tons.

While at Merauke Port, the load volume of goods was recorded at 2,000 tons.

"The volume of goods has loaded since January-July 2020 amounted to 118,796 tons or increased by 66.89 percent when compared to January-July 2019 of 71,184 tons".

"This was influenced by an increase in the volume of goods loaded at Jayapura Port by 40.5 percent and at Merauke Port by 168.62 percent," explained Adriana.

As for the volume of goods unloaded in July 2020, he continued, amounting to 94,369 tons or an increase of 10.48 percent compared to the previous month, 85,414 tons.

Specifically in Jayapura Port, the volume of unloading goods in July 2020 was recorded at 75,661 tons. While at Merauke Port, the volume of unloading goods was recorded at 18,708 tons.

"Meanwhile, the volume of unloading goods at Jayapura Port and Merauke Port in January-July 2020 amounted to 746,095 tons or decreased by 3.78 percent compared to January-July 2019 which was 775,407 tons," he said.

Switching to the number of passengers departing using domestic sea transportation, he added, by July 2020 was recorded as 7,758 people or an increase of 139.96 percent compared to June 2020 of 3,233 people. 

Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving by using domestic sea transportation in July 2020 was recorded as 3,797 people or an increase of 206.21 percent when compared to June 2020 which was 1,240 people.
