Wagub Klemen Desak Jakarta Segera Terbitkan SK Sekda Definitif

Wakil Papua Gubernur Klemen Tinal mendesak pemerintah pusat untuk segera menerbitan SK Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) definitif, guna kelancaran tugas pelayanan dan pembangunan di bumi cenderawasih.

Wagub Klemen menilai, sudah semestinya Doren Wakerkwa yang juga menjabat Asisten Bidang Pemerintahan, ditetapkan sebagai Sekda Papua. 

Apalagi yang bersangkutan dalam fit and proper test oleh pemerintah pusat, berada di urutan teratas dari tiga kandidat.

“Sebaiknya jakarta jangan putar-putar, tentukan saja pak Doren sebagai Sekda. Dia kan nomor 1 (dari segi penilaian), tidak ada alasan (lagi untuk menentukan yang nomor dua atau tiga sebagai Sekda)”. 

“(Kita) harus biasakan menghargai apa yang menjadi norma hukum yang kita junjung tinggi. Jangan diputar balik, sehingga menumbuhkan kesan yang kurang baik bagi kita sebagai pejabat, di republik ini,” cetusnya, Jumat (25/9/2020), di Jayapura.

Ia berharap dalam penentuan Sekda definitif, pemerintah pusat bijak agar tak memberi kesan negatif bagi pemerintah dan warga di Papua. 

Sebab bila SK penunjukan Doren Wakerkwa tak kunjung turun dari pusat, Wagub mengambil opsi untuk memperpanjang masa jabatannya yang kini sebagai Penjabat Sekda Papua, hingga masa jabatan Gubernur Lukas – Klemen berakhir.

“Saat ini Doren Wakerkwa sebagai Penjabat Sekda, kalau bisa segera dilantik sebagai pejabat definitif. Kalau tidak, perpanjang saja sampai (masa jabatan Lukas-Klemen) selesai,” ujarnya.

Sebelumnya, Doren Wakerkwa resmi diangkat sebagai Penjabat Sekda Papua menggantikan Ridwan Rumasukun yang ditunjuk menjadi salah satu Pejabat Sementara (Pjs) bupati pada salah satu dari 11 kabupaten, penyelenggara Pilkada serentak 2020.

Doren memastikan siap mendukung kepala daerah dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pembangunan selama enam bulan kedepan, sampai ditunjuknya Sekda definitif.

Pada kesempatan itu, turut dikukuhkan Kepala BPKP Papua yang baru saja dilantik di Jakarta.

Papuan Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal urged the central government to immediately issue a definitive Regional Secretary (Sekda) Decree, in order to perform service and development duties.

The Deputy Governor of Klemen assessed that Doren Wakerkwa, who also serves as Assistant for Government Affairs, should be appointed as the Papua Regional Secretary.

Moreover, those concerned in fit and proper tests by the central government, are at the top of the three candidates.

“We recommend that Jakarta not be convoluted, just appoint Mr. Doren as Secretary. He is number 1 (in terms of assessment), there is no more reason to determine number two or three as a Regional Secretary must make it a habit to respect what is the legal norm that we uphold. Do not turn it around, so that it creates a bad impression for us as officials in this republic,” he told in Jayapura, Friday (Sept. 25, 2020).

He hopes that in the determination of the definitive Secretary, the central government is wise and not making a negative impression on the government and citizens in Papua.

Because if the decree of Doren Wakerkwa is not dropped from the center, the Deputy Governor takes the option to extend his current term as Acting Secretary of Papua, until the term of Governor Lukas – Klemen ends.

"Currently, Doren Wakerkwa is the Acting Regional Secretary, if possible, he will immediately be appointed as the definitive official. If not, just extend it until (Lukas-Klemen tenure)," he said.

Previously, Doren Wakerkwa was officially appointed as Acting Secretary of Papua in place of Ridwan Rumasukun who was appointed as one of the Interim Officials (Pjs) regents in one of the 11 districts, the organizer of the 2020 concurrent elections.

Previously, Doren Wakerkwa was officially appointed as Acting Regional Secretary of Papua replacing Ridwan Rumasukun who was appointed as one of the Regent's Provisional Officers (Pjs) in one of 11 districts, organizer of the 2020 simultaneous regional elections.

Doren ensured that he was ready to support the regional head in the implementation of government and development for the next six months, until the appointment of a definitive Secretary.

On that occasion, the head of BPKP Papua was appointed in Jakarta.
