JAYAPURA - Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Agency (Kominfo), Jeri A. Yudianto denied issues or information related to requesting project fees from the Acting Governor of Papua to contractors or third parties.
According to him, Governor Rumasukun on various occasions often reminded the Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization within the Papua Provincial Government to carry out their duties under applicable regulations. In addition, obeying the principles and avoiding all forms of gratification is mandatory.
"There is no such thing as the governor asking for a fee or anything from Regional Work Units (SKPD) or contractors. The governor even strictly ordered all the Regional Apparatus Organizations and related staff under him to carry out these activities under applicable regulations."
"So, regarding issues and information related to gratification or request for fees from one of the officials or staff of the Papua Provincial Government on behalf of the order of the Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, we declare that it is incorrect," said Jeri Yudianto, Tuesday (11/28/2023).
Meanwhile, if parties are asked for project fees by civil servants, Jeri appealed to immediately report it on the lapor.go.id online channel or email Papua Provincial Government @infopapua.go.id, including authentic evidence.
"Or you can also report to law enforcement officials, to the police, the prosecutor's office and the Corruption Eradication Commission. But it is accompanied by strong evidence because otherwise, it can cause slander," he concluded. ***
