JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government ensures that public services in all local offices run optimally from the first day of work after the 2024 Eid holiday.
According to the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics, Jeri A. Yudianto, service activities in all Regional Apparatus Organizations at the provincial level are normal, although not all civil servants have offices.
"From monitoring, services are normal after the Eid holiday."
"Indeed, the number of civil servants is still small, but the public service agenda in related Regional Apparatus Organizations is running smoothly," Jeri said in Jayapura City on Wednesday.
He explained that his party hoped that all civil servants could adjust and re-operate in public services.
Jery on that occasion appealed to all employees of the Papua Provincial Government not to extend the holiday period because there are administrative sanctions according to the instructions of the leadership.
"For this reason, I think having an office according to the stipulated time must be a concern for all civil servants within the Papua Provincial Government
Because before the holiday, there was a directive from the Regional Secretary for all of us to work after the holiday," he said.
It is known as Circular Letter 003/3065/ SET, on March 25, 2024 concerning Official National Holiday and Joint Leave in April, May and June 2024, all civil servants of the Papua Provincial Government must return to office on April 16, 2024.
The Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur, on one occasion reminded civil servants of the Papua Provincial Government not to extend the holiday period. If violated, it will be subject to administrative sanctions. ***
