JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government officially submitted the 2024 Local Government Financial Report (LKPD) to the Papua Representative Office of the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) on Wednesday (April 9, 2025), in Jayapura.
Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, stated that this submission is a form of compliance with Law Number 17 of 2003 on State Finance and Government Regulation Number 71 of 2010 on Government Accounting Standards.
“Governance must be carried out in a transparent and accountable manner,” Ramses said.
He emphasized the importance of regular financial accountability reporting.
“I hope this financial report will be reviewed objectively and receive the best opinion from the Audit Board,” he said.
Ramses also encouraged continued coordination between the Audit Board, the Inspectorate, and regional government agencies (OPD).
“This is to ensure that all reports can be accounted for both administratively and substantively,” he stated. ***
