JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, expressed his appreciation to Bank Papua for hosting the 2025 Simpeda and organizing a variety of activities.  According to the governor, this event serves as an opportunity to promote the potential of Papua.

“This moment can be used to promote the potential of Papua, from introducing tourist attractions to showcasing the creative economy products made by indigenous Papuans, and more,” said Ramses Limbong. 

Although the guests won’t stay long in Papua, they will at least be able to enjoy some of the tourist attractions offered and take home some souvenirs. “They can also help the government and local communities by promoting what Papua has to offer when they return to their respective regions,” Ramses added.

 Thus, Ramses continued, Papua will become increasingly well-known across Indonesia, regardless of the current circumstances. ***
