JAYAPURA - Successfully holding a Logic Programming competition attended by 25 teams from high schools and vocational schools in Jayapura City, the Indonesian Science Society (MIPI) Papua is targeting provincial-level competitions.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Secretary General III of MIPI Papua, Andri Damir, after handing over the prize for the programming logic competition, on Thursday (24/8/2023), at the Papua Communication and Informatics Service Hall, Jayapura City.
"Seeing the enthusiasm of the participants who participated in the competition, this initial competition will be a basic reference for the future not only made in the Jayapura City area and its surroundings but also at the provincial level," explained Andri.
Andri added Programming Logic, which must continue to be popularized and encouraged to high school students. In the sense that the spirit of digitalization must continue to be encouraged to the younger generation because a leader inevitably has to master technology.
"In the future, we are starting to lead to a system or era of digitalization. Our world today is undeniably digital, everything can be done via smartphones and computers. So, I think this technology is important for us to familiarize ourselves with our young generation in Papua," he said.
It is known, that in the Programming Logic competition held by Papua Communication and Informatics in collaboration with the local MIPI in 2023, the first winner came out, namely SMA Negeri 4, followed by SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura and SMK Negeri 3 the second and third winners.
Meanwhile, Hikmah Yapis High School Jayapura, SMA Negeri 5 Jayapura, and SMA Negeri 2 Jayapura, in the fourth, the fifth and the sixth. ***
