JAYAPURA - The Papua Regional Liaison Agency targets the donation of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of the Papua Pavilion in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta to reach IDR 200 million.
Head of the Papua Regional Liaison Agency, Alexander Kapisa is optimistic that this figure can be achieved because the contribution of the original income of the Papua Pavilion area in 2023 has exceeded the target.
"The Papua Pavilion in 2023 will contribute Regional Original Revenue of IDR 170 million from the target charged of IDR 50 million. We are optimistic that it can reach IDR 200 million this year," explained Alex in Jayapura, Thursday.
According to him, the sector that contributes the most to the Papua Pavilion comes from renting places often used by the community, organizations and companies for meeting purposes.
While the average number of visitors at the Papua Pavilion now reaches 3,000 people per month.
"The number of visits to the Papua Pavilion in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah has increased dramatically after being revitalized by the Papua Provincial Government."
"The high enthusiasm mainly comes from students and foreign tourists. The point is that we are very grateful for this result. This achievement is certainly a challenge for us, to consistently maintain and manage the platform and even improve services, "said Kapisa.
Meanwhile, Kapisa added that his party would start the implementation of thematic activities regularly starting this March. Besides continuing to provide daily activities such as socialization of Papuan art and culture. ***
