JAYAPURA—Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong appealed to the residents of Papua to cast their votes at the Polling Stations (TPS).
This is a form of shared responsibility of all people in Keerom Regency to advance their region by determining the right leader.
"So I appeal to all people who have the right to vote to make the best use of this opportunity so as not to regret it in the future," explained Limbong during a working visit to Keerom, Wednesday (30/10/2024).
He hopes that the community will not abstain because it will damage the democratic party.
"The point is that let's make the democracy party every five years a success by being present at the Polling Station (TPS) on November 27," said Ramses
Acting Regent of Keerom, Wahfir Kosasi said that the readiness to implement the simultaneous Regional Elections had reached approximately 80 percent towards the day of voting.
"For the Permanent Voter List (DPT) as many as 52,964 voters," he said.
Meanwhile, the logistics readiness of the Regional Elections has reached 80 percent and is ready to be distributed to 141 polling stations.
Meanwhile, the governor, during his visit to Keerom, carried out coaching and supervision of regional development related to the preparation of the 2024 Regional Elections.
The Governor also monitors the implementation of national strategic programs which include inflation control, stunting prevention, and the management of the Integrated Services Post (as one of the elements to improve public health.
Limbong also conducted a direct review in the field to observe the real conditions and problems or obstacles faced by the Keerom Regency Government in implementing the government.
The working visit was also coupled with the delivery of assistance and the synergy of programs and activities at the Regional Working Unit of Papua Provincial for Keerom Regency. ***
