JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong visits to the Papua Provincial Regional Research and Innovation Development Planning Agency (Bapperida), Monday, January 20, 2025.
During his visit, Ramses said that Bapperida is a Regional Work Unit that plans through the RPJMD to ensure the continuity of government programs. "There is a moral responsibility that must be carried out by Bapperida, how officials in stages, from leaders to heads of sections to staff, can plan and coordinate with Stakeholders within the Papua Provincial Government," said Ramses.
Ramses emphasized how agricultural, marine and tourism planning can be a potential income for Papua, that is the role of Bapperida to make plans, "collect and coordinate all Regional Work Unit so that each Regional Work Unit can take its role, regional spatial planning must be clear, the implementation must be measurable, and all parties, from the leadership to the staff must contribute. Don't just be physically present without real productivity," said Ramses.
Ramses also highlighted the need to improve time discipline in carrying out work. Punctuality is important and an individual responsibility, said Ramses Limbong. "Humans want to live comfortably and well, but to create comfort is not always pleasant. We have to work hard and abandon unproductive habits," he said.
The need for periodic evaluation of innovation and organizational performance of all parties to be more proactive in creating change and innovating. "We have to think ahead and not just rely on routines. If the organization runs well, promotion and appreciation will come by itself. " Leaders and staff must be aware of their roles and responsibilities.
In the meeting attended by Acting Assistant 3 for General Administration, Johana Ani Rumbiak, Secretary of Bepperida, Verra Wanda and officials and staff of Bapperida, Ramses Limbong conveyed the importance of improving organizational performance and moral responsibility of leaders and employees. He invited all elements of the organization to get out of their comfort zone and increase work effectiveness, Ramses also conveyed the need for good coordination between fields to achieve the targets that have been set.
