Gubernur Lukas Enembe Diusulkan Terima Gelar Honoris Causa

JAYAPURA - Gubernur Papua, Lukas Enembe mendapat usulan untuk diberi gelar kehormatan Doktor Honoris Causa. 

Adapun pengusulan gelar oleh Universitas Cenderawasih Jayapura, atas dasar deretan prestasi yang diraih, diantaranya keberhasilan melaksanakan PON serta delapan kali berturut-turut membawa Pemprov Papua meraih predikat Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) dari Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) RI.

“Kita dari Uncen Jayapura sudah mengamati Lukas Enembe sejak 2007 hingga saat ini. Sejak memimpin Puncak Jaya hingga Papua, ada banyak prestasi yang bisa ditelaah secara akademik maupun jasa sosial kemasyarakatan dan pembangunan”

“Contoh terakhir yaitu hadirnya PON XX di Papua, belum lagi prestasi lainnya seperti di bidang sosial kemasyarakatan yang membuat kami terobsesi memberikan gelar Doktor Honoris Causa kepada Gubernur Papua,” terang Direktur Program Pasca Sarjana Uncen, Prof. Dr. Drs. Akbar Silo, MS disela-sela Ramah Tamah Gubernur Papua, Lukas Enembe dengan Universitas Cendrawasih di Jayapura, Senin (13/6/2022). 

Meski begitu, pengusulannya nanti akan mendapatkan referensi dari masyarakat, seperti tokoh gereja, pendidikan, adat dan lainnya. 

“Tentunya kita harap rencana pengusulan ini lancar serta memenuhi persyaratan. Dimana langkah pertama kami lakukan berkoordinasi secara kelembagaan mulai dari program doktornya dan koordinasi dengan FISIP Uncen”. 

“Juga agar mereka bersepakat untuk diusulkan melalui Rektor lalu dipertimbangkan oleh Senat. Apabila disetujui akan diteruskan ke menteri,” pungkasnya. ***

JAYAPURA - The Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, received a proposal to be given the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa.

The proposal of the degree by University of Cenderawasih Jayapura, on the basis of a series of achievements, including the success of implementing the PON and brought the Papua Provincial Government to win the title of Reasonable Without Exception (WTP) from the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK) eight times.

"We from Uncen Jayapura have been observing Lukas Enembe since 2007 until now. Since leading Puncak Jaya to Papua, there have been many achievements that can be studied academically as well as social services and development."

"The last example is the presence of PON XX in Papua, and other achievements such as in the social and community sector which makes us obsessed with giving the Doctorate Honoris Causa to the Governor of Papua," explained the Director of the Postgraduate Program of Uncen, Prof. Dr. Drs. Akbar Silo, MS on the sidelines of the courteous, Lukas Enembe with Cendrawasih University in Jayapura, Monday (13/6/2022).

Even so, the proposal will get references from the community, such as church leaders, education, customs and others.

"Of course, we hope that this proposal plan will be smooth and meet the requirements. The first step we do is to coordinate institutionally starting from the doctoral program and coordination with FISIP Uncen".

"They agreed to be proposed through the Chancellor and then considered by the Senate. If approved, it will be forwarded to the minister," he concluded. ***
