Diskominfo hadirkan internet gratis bagi warga Kampung Enggros dan Tobati

JAYAPURA - Warga Kampung Tobati dan Enggros, Kota Jayapura, kini mulai dapat menikmati dan mengakses internet gratis di wilyahnya untuk keperluan literasi digital maupun hal lainnya.

Fasilitas internet gratis disediakan Pemerintah Provinsi Papua lewat Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, dengan tujuan agar masyarakat setempat memiliki kemampuan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

"Pastinya penyediaan internet gratis ini merupakan pengembangan sistem jaringan komunikasi data Pemprov Papua yang dikelola melalui Dinas Kominfo. Kita kemudian mengelola internet pemerintah daerah lalu kita sinergikan untuk bisa masuk ke wilayah-wilayah yang terjangkau infrastruktur kita". 

"Tujuannya jelas dengan hadirnya internet gratis ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi stimulan untuk pengembangan kapasitas SDM di wilayah setempat, khususnya dibidang TIK," terang Kepala Dinas Kominfo Provinsi Papua, Jeri Agus Yudianto, usai menyerahkan fasilitas internet gratis kepada Kepala Pemerintahan Kampung Tobati dan Enggros, di Kampung Enggros, Senin (11/7/2022).

Sebelumnya, Diskominfo Papua telah menyediakan fasilitas internet gratis bagi warga di Kampung Kayu Pulo, Kota Jayapura. Penyediaan internet memiliki fokus yang sama, yakni hadir memberikan pelayanan maksimal dibidang TIK hingga ke pelosok dan kampung.

"Tentunya saya harapkan dari ketersediaan internet ini, nanti akan tumbuh kelompok-kelompok belajar. Sebab warga setempat ini nantinya bisa menggunakan internet gratis untuk mengakses video-video pembelajaran seperti di youtube atau materi-materi belajar lainnya pada beberapa aplikasi belajar,” harap dia. 

Kepala Pemerintahan Kampung Enggros, Rully Merauje mengapresiasi Pemerintah Provinsi Papua atas perhatian penyediaan fasilitas internet gratis tersebut. Sebab hal itu sangat menunjang warga kampung setempat dalam mengakses internet, sekaligus mendukung program pengembangan SDM di bidang teknologi informasi.

"Jujur kita sudah lama mengharapkan kehadiran fasilitas internet gratis ini di kampung kita. Sebab dengan adanya fasilitas internet ini, kedepan bisa didorong membuat kursus komputer bagi anak-anak di Kampung Enggros," tandasnya.

JAYAPURA - People in Tobati and Enggros, Jayapura City, are now starting to enjoy and access free internet in their area for digital literacy purposes and other things.

Free internet facilities are provided by the Papua Provincial Government through the Communication and Informatics Department, with the aim that local people have the ability to use information and communication technology.

"Of course, the provision of free internet is the development of the Papua Provincial Government's data communication network system which is managed through the Communication and Informatics Department then we manage the local government internet and synergize it to be able to enter areas that are affordable to our infrastructure."

"The goal is clear, it is hoped that it can be a stimulant for the development of human resource capacity in the local area, especially in the field of ICT," explained the Head of the Papua Province Communication and Information Department, Jeri Agus Yudianto, after handing over free internet facilities to the Head of Local Government of Tobati and Enggros, Monday (11/7/2022).

Previously, the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua had provided free internet facilities for residents in Kayu Pulo, Jayapura City. The provision of the internet has the same focus, which is to provide maximum service in the field of ICT to remote areas and villages.

"Of course, I hope that from the availability of this internet, there will be a growth in study groups. Because these local residents will be able to use the free internet to access learning videos such as on YouTube or other learning materials on several learning applications“, he said.

The Head of Government of Enggros Village, Rully Merauje, appreciated the Papua Provincial Government for this attention to providing free internet facilities. Because it really supports local villagers in accessing the internet, as well as supporting human resources development programs in the field of information technology.

"Honestly, we have long expected the presence of this free internet facility in our village. Because with the existence of this internet facility, it will be encouraged to create computer courses for children in Enggros Village," he said. ***
