BPS : Gini Ratio Maret 2022 capai 0,315

JAYAPURA - Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Papua mencatat Gini Ratio di daerah perkotaan pada Maret 2022 sebesar 0,315. Nilai tersebut naik dibanding Gini Ratio September 2021 sebesar 0,307. Sama halnya pula dibanding Gini Ratio Maret 2021 sebesar 0,301.

"Tapi kalau Gini Ratio di daerah perdesaan pada Maret 2022 tercatat sebesar 0,427, turun jika dibandingkan dengan Gini Ratio September 2021 yang sebesar 0,419 dan naik pula bila dibanding Gini Ratio Maret 2021 yang sebesar 0,422," ujar Kepala BPS Papua Adriana Helena Carolina, di Jayapura, Rabu.

Sementara untuk tingkat ketimpangan pengeluaran penduduk di wilayahnya, sambung Adriana, jika diukur oleh Gini Ratio, mencapai sebesar 0,406 pada Maret 2022.

Angka tersebut meningkat sebesar 0,001 poin jika dibandingkan dengan Gini Ratio pada September 2021 yang sebesar 0,396.

"Sedangkan jika dibandingkan dengan Gini Ratio Maret 2021 yang sebesar 0,397 maka naik sebesar 0,009 poin," terang dia.

Sementara pada Maret 2022 distribusi pengeluaran pada kelompok 40 persen terbawah penduduk Provinsi Papua sebesar 15,46 persen. Artinya pengeluaran penduduk di Papua berada pada kategori tingkat ketimpangan sedang. 

"Hanya jika dirinci menurut wilayah, di daerah perkotaan angkanya tercatat sebesar 21,89 persen yang artinya berada pada kategori ketimpangan rendah," tambahnya lagi. ***

"If the Gini Ratio in rural areas is recorded at 0.427 in March 2022, it is compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.419 and also an increase when compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.422," said Head of Central Statistics Agency of Papua, Adriana Helena Carolina, in Jayapura, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the level of inequality in population expenditure in her region, continued Adriana, if measured by the Gini Ratio, reached 0.406 in March 2022.

This figure increased by 0.001 points compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.396.

"Meanwhile, compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.397, it increased by 0.009 points," she explained.

As of March 2022, the distribution of expenditures in the bottom 40 percent of the population of Papua Province was 15.46 percent. This means that population expenditure in Papua is in the category of moderate level of inequality.

"Only if it is broken down by region, in urban areas the figure is recorded at 21.89 percent which means It is in the category of low inequality," she added. ***
