TPPS Didorong Percepat Penurunan Angka Stunting TPPS Encouraged to Accelerate Stunting Rate Reduction

JAYAPURA - Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Papua diharapkan mampu menekan prevalensi stunting di seluruh Indonesia, sebagaimana target nasional pada 2024, angkanya harus mencapai dibawah 14 persen.
Sementara di Papua, keberadaan tim tersebut diharapkan mampu menurunkan angka stunting hingga berada pada nol persen kasus.
Hal demikian disampaikan, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Papua Roby Kayame di Jayapura, Selasa.
“Kita mengapresiasi TPPS Papua yang mana peran aktifnya diharapkan mampu menurunkan stunting serta bisa menggerakkan rencana aksi di tingkat Provinsi Papua," terang Roby.
Kendari demikian, Roby katakan untuk memaksimalkan penanganan stunting, dibutuhkan dukungan masyarakat serta pemerintah kabupaten dan kota di Papua.
“Makanya kita berharap seluruh personel dan instansi yang tergabung dalam TPPS Provinsi Papua mampu merangkul masyarakat dan berkomitmen kuat untuk terus berkoordinasi secara aktif serta terintegratif dengan seluruh stakeholder terkait”.
“Supaya konvergensi terhadap sasaran prioritas dapat berjalan secara efektif," katanya lagi.
Sebelumnya telah dilakukan pembukaan kegiatan rekonsiliasi stunting provinsi Papua dengan tema “Sinergitas TPPS Tingkat Provinsi Papua Dalam Rangka Capaian Target Penurunan Prevalensi Stunting 14 persen di Tahun 2024” yang diikut seluruh Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting Provinsi Papua dan kabupaten/kota pada salah satu hotel di Kota Jayapura, Senin (21/11). ***

This was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Provincial Health Office Roby Kayame in Jayapura, Tuesday.
"We appreciate the TPPS of Papua, whose active role is expected to be able to reduce stunting and be able to drive action plans at the Papua Province level," explained Roby.
However, Roby said that to maximize the handling of stunts, community support and district and city governments in Papua are needed.
"Therefore, we hope that all personnel and agencies who are members of the Papua Province TPPS will be able to embrace the community and are strongly committed to continuing to coordinate actively and integrative with all relevant stakeholders".
"So that convergence on priority goals can run effectively," he said again.
Previously, there was an opening of stunting reconciliation activities in Papua Province with the theme "Synergy of TPPS at the Papua Provincial Level in the Context of Achievement of the Target of Reducing Stunting Prevalence by 14 percent in 2024" which was followed by the entire Papua Province Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team and regencies/cities at one of the hotels in Jayapura City, Monday (21/11). ***
