JAYAPURA - Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian resmi memperpanjang masa jabatan Penjabat Walikota Jayapura, Frans Pekey dan Penjabat Bupati Sarmi, Markus Mansnembra.
Surat Keputusan (SK) perpanjangan masa jabatan dua kepala daerah tersebut diserahkan Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Gubernur Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, Jumat (26/5/2023), di Kantor Gubernur Dok II, Jayapura.
Gubernur Ridwan pada kesempatan tersebut menitipkan tiga tugas utama (agenda nasional) yang mesti segera dilaksanakan dua kepala daerah itu. Pertama menjaga kestabilan harga bahan pokok lewat koordinasi tingkat tinggi dengan Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) setempat guna mengendalikan inflasi.
Kedua melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, guna melakukan langkah ekstrim dalam upaya penurunan stunting di wilayah kerjanya.
Sedangkan ketiga mengawal implementasi undang-undang nomor 2 tahun 2021 tentang perubahan kedua undang-undang otonomi khusus di Provinsi Papua, sehingga dapat segera dilakukan penyesuaian.
"Penyesuaian tentunya terhadap pelaksanaan otonomi khusus format baru sebagaimana amanat peraturan pemerintah nomor 106 dan 107 sebagai peraturan pelaksana undang-undang otonomi khusus di Provinsi Papua," Ridwan.
Dia menambahkan pihaknya juga berharap agar Penjabat Bupati Sarmi dan Penjabat Walikota Jayapura untuk lebih mendekatkan pelayanan, responsif terhadap kepentingan masyarakat, serta memperhatikan aspirasi masyarakat.
"Termasuk untuk pelaksanaan Pemilu diharapkan para penjabat bersama dengan pihak TNI/Polri, mempersiapkan serta mensukseskan agenda nasional tersebut," tandas dia. ***

The Decree (SK) extending the term of office of the two regional heads was handed over by the Daily Executive (Plh) of Papua Governor Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, Friday (26/5/2023), at the Governor's Office Dok II, Jayapura.
Governor Ridwan on that occasion entrusted three main tasks (national agenda) that must be immediately carried out by the two regional heads. First, maintaining the stability of staple food prices through high-level coordination with the local Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) to control inflation.
Second, coordinate with related parties to take extreme steps in efforts to reduce stunting in their work areas.
Meanwhile, the third oversees the implementation of law number 2 of 2021 concerning the second amendment to the special autonomy law in Papua Province, so that adjustments can be made immediately.
"The adjustment is of course toward the implementation of the new format of special autonomy as mandated by government regulations number 106 and 107 as implementing regulations for special autonomy laws in Papua Province," Ridwan said.
He added that his party also hopes that the Acting Regent of Sarmi and the Acting Mayor of Jayapura will bring services closer, respond to the interests of the community, and pay attention to the aspirations of the community.
"Including the implementation of the elections, it is hoped that the officials together with the National Armed and Police Force will prepare and succeed the national agenda," he said. ***
