JAYAPURA - Puncak acara peringatan HUT Korpri ke-52 di Provinsi Papua yang jatuh pada 29 November 2023, diwarnai dengan agenda jalan santai dan olahraga bersama di halaman Venue Aquatik, Kampung Harapan Sentani, Kabupaten Jayapura, Selasa (28/11/2023) pagi.
Tak hanya itu, agenda nasional tersebut turut diisi dengan pelayanan KB, donor darah serta pembagian door prize, yang disaksikan langsung Pj Sekda Papua, Derek Hegemur bersama jajaran pimpinan OPD Papua.
Pj Sekda Papua, Derek Hegemur dalam kesempatan tersebut mengingatkan seluruh ASN di Bumi Cenderawasih yang juga anggota Korpri, agar tidak terlibat politik praktis jelang tahun politik di 2024 mendatang.
"Yang pasti sebagai ASN dan anggota Korpri, wajib netral dalam dalam pesta demokrasi 2024. Sehingga Korpri berdiri di tengah, lalu tetap menjalankan tugas melayani masyarakat dengan sebaik-baiknya," terang Derek.
Pihaknya juga memastikan jelang tahun politik 2024 mendatang, Pemprov Papua akan gencar melakukan sosialisasi terkait netralitas ASN dalam mengikuti pesta demokrasi tersebut.
"Supaya ASN bisa tetap bekerja sebagaimana adanya, tidak memihak ke kiri dan ke kanan, tapi tegak lurus bekerja memastikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat."
"Artinya, siapapun yang menjadi pemimpin, para anggota Korpri tetap berdiri tegak lurus, netral dalam Pemilukada maupun Pilpres," tandasnya. ***

Not only that, the national agenda was also filled with family planning services, blood donations and door prize distribution, which was witnessed directly by the Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur with the leadership of Papua Regional Apparatus Organizations.
Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur on the occasion reminded all civil servants who are also members of Korpri, not to get involved in practical politics ahead of the upcoming political year in 2024.
"As civil servants and members of Korpri, they must be neutral in the 2024 democratic party. Until Korpri stands in the middle, then continues to carry out the task of serving the community as well as possible," explained Derek.
He also ensured that ahead of the upcoming 2024 political year, the Papua Provincial Government will intensively carry out socialization related to the neutrality of civil servants in participating in the democratic party.
"So that civil servants can continue to work as they are, not taking sides left and right, but perpendicularly working to ensure service to the community."
"This means that whoever becomes the leader, Korpri members still stand upright, neutral in the election and the presidential election," he said. ***
