Pj Sekda Papua : Dana Hibah Pilkada 2024 Segera Dicairkan

JAYAPURA – Pemerintah Provinsi Papua segera mencairkan dana hibah kepada Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), Bawaslu dan pihak keamanan guna menunjang pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan Pemilihan kepala daerah di provinsi serta 9 kabupaten dan kota Oktober mendatang.

Hal itu disampaikan Pj Sekda Papua, Derek Hegemur di Kantor Gubernur setempat, Jl. Soa Siu Dok II, Kota Jayapura, Rabu (24/1/2024)

“Anggaran KPU, Bawaslu dan pihak kemanan kita akan cairkan 100 persen dalam waktu dekat,” katanya.

Menurut Sekda, Naskah Perjanjian Hibah Pemerintah Daerah (NHPD) antara Pemprov Papua dan KPU, Bawaslu dan pihak keamanan sudah ditandatangani akhir tahun 2023 lalu.

Pencairan tinggal menunggu waktu dan kesiapan kedua belah pihak.

Ketua KPU Papua, Steve Dumbon sebelumnya mengatakan, dana hibah Pilkada 2024 untuk KPU Papua sebesar Rp 155 milyar. 

Nilai tersebut ditetapkan setelah dirasionalisasi Tim Anggaran Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Papua.

“Anggaran yang kami usulkan itu sebesar Rp 242 milyar. Tetapi setelah dilakukan rasionalisasi oleh tim TAPD Papua, akhirnya disepakati sebesar Rp 155 milyar,” ujar ia.

KPU Papua lanjut ia, sebelumnya telah mengajukan pencairan anggaran sebesar 40 persen pada tahun lalu. Hanya saja Pemprov Papua menyanggupi 19 persen sehingga dibatalkan.

“Makanya kita berharap, anggaran KPU bisa cair pada tahun ini 100 persen paling lambat di Februari. Sebab tahapan pelaksaan Pilkada 2024 berjalan di bulan Maret,” tandasnya. ***

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur to reporters, at the Governor Office, Jl. Soa Siu Dok II, Jayapura City, Tuesday (1/23/2024).

"The budget of the General Elections Commission, General Election Supervisory Agency and security forces will be disbursed 100 percent soon," he said.

According to the Secretary, the Regional Government Grant Agreement (NHPD) between the Papua Provincial Government and the General Elections Commission, General Election Supervisory Agency and the security forces was signed at the end of 2023.

Disbursement is just a matter of time and readiness of both parties.

Chairman of the Papua General Elections Commission, Steve Dumbon previously said that the 2024 regional election grant for the Papua General Elections Commission amounted to IDR 155 billion.

The value was determined after being rationalized by the Papua Provincial Government Budget Team.

"Our proposed budget is IDR 242 billion. But after rationalization by the Papua TAPD team, it was finally agreed to be IDR 155 billion," he said.

The Papua General Elections Commission had previously proposed a budget disbursement of 40 percent last year. It's just that the Papua Provincial Government agreed to 19 percent so it was cancelled.

"That's why we hope that the budget can be disbursed this year 100 percent no later than February. Because the stage of implementing the 2024 regional elections will run in March," he said. ***
