Pemerintah Provinsi Papua segera memperbaiki mesin pembakaran limbah medis RSUD Jayapura yang dilaporkan mengalami kerusakan. The Papua Provincial Government immediately repaired the medical waste combustion engine of Jayapura Regional Hospital, which was reportedly damaged.
JAYAPURA - Pemerintah Provinsi Papua segera memperbaiki mesin pembakaran limbah medis RSUD Jayapura yang dilaporkan mengalami kerusakan.
Menurut Penjabat Gubernur Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, selain memperbaiki mesin pengolahan limbah rumah sakit, sejumlah peralatan yang rusak bakal ikut diperbaiki. Hal demikian agar pelayanan kepada masyarakat dapat berjalan maksimal.
"Kita akan bantu perbaikan mesin pembakaran sampah atau limbah rumah sakit yang rusak, juga akan mengecek listiknya. Nanti tugas pak Sekda untuk mengecek kebutuhan biaya berapa, kita langsung bantu.”
“Juga peralatan rumah sakit yang rusak, pemerintah akan segera lakukan perbaikan,” terang Pj Gubernur Ridwan, usai meninjau RSUD Jayapura, Senin (18/4/2024).
Gubernur dalam kunjungan di RSUD Jayapura, didampingi Pj Sekda Papua Derek Hegemur, Asisten II Setda Papua Suzana Wanggai dan Kadis Kesehatan Roby Kayame.
Peninjauan di RSUD Jayapura, usai tenaga medis melaporkan beberapa hal yang menjadi masalah utama dalam pelayanan di rumah sakit tersebut.
"Yang pasti kita ingin memastikan pelayanan rumah sakit di sini baik, setelah mendapat laporan dan data yang detail dari manajemen rumah sakit," tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Sekretaris Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Papua, dr. Aaron Rumainum mengakui ada beberapa masalah yang terjadi di RSUD Jayapura.
Disebutkan, masalah yang terjadi di rumah sakit milik Pemprov Papua ini seperti alat-alat kesehatan yang rusak, termasuk mesin pengelolaan sampah rumah sakit dan genset.
“Sebab salah satu faktor adalah minimnya anggaran untuk rumah sakit,” tuturnya. ***

In a review at RSUD Jayapura, medical personnel reported several things that became the main problems in hospital services.
"We want to ensure that hospital services here are good, after getting detailed reports and data from hospital management," he said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Papua Provincial Health Office, dr. Aaron Rumainum admitted that several problems occurred at the Jayapura Regional Hospital.
It was mentioned that the problems that occurred in the hospital owned by the Papua Provincial Government were such as damaged medical equipment, including hospital waste management machines and generators.
"Because one of the factors is the lack of budget for hospitals," he said. ***
