Presiden Prabowo Lantik Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua

JAKARTA - Presiden Prabowo Subianto melantik Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua masa jabatan tahun 2025-2030 pada Rabu, 8 Oktober 2025. Dalam acara pelantikan yang digelar di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Matius Fakhiri dan Aryoko Alberto Ferdinand Rumaropen dilantik sebagai Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua.

Kepala daerah ini dilantik berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 108/P Tahun 2025 tentang Pemberhentian Penjabat Gubernur dan Pengesahan Pengangkatan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Masa Jabatan Tahun 2025-2030. Deputi Bidang Administrasi Aparatur Kementerian Sekretariat Negara Nanik Purwanti membacakan surat keputusan tersebut.

Usai pembacaan Keputusan Presiden, Presiden Prabowo pun mengambil sumpah jabatan para kepala daerah yang dilantik.

“Bahwa saya akan setia dan memegang teguh Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945 serta akan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan dengan selurus-lurusnya, demi darma bakti saya kepada bangsa dan negara,” ucap Presiden mendiktekan sumpah jabatan.

Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyematan tanda pangkat oleh Presiden Prabowo kepada Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua masa jabatan tahun 2025-2030. Setelahnya, para kepala daerah masing-masing menandatangani berita acara pelantikan. 

Acara ditutup dengan pemberian ucapan selamat oleh Presiden Prabowo dan Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming yang kemudian diikuti oleh para undangan lain yang hadir. Turut hadir dalam pelantikan ini ialah para ketua dan wakil ketua lembaga negara, para menteri dan wakil menteri Kabinet Merah Putih, Panglima TNI Jenderal Agus Subiyanto, dan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo. ***

JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua for the 2025–2030 term on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The inauguration ceremony took place at the State Palace in Jakarta, where Matius Fakhiri and Aryoko Alberto Ferdinand Rumaropen were officially sworn in as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua.

The inauguration was carried out based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 108/P of 2025 concerning the Dismissal of the Acting Governor and the Ratification of the Appointment of the Governor and Deputy Governor for the 2025–2030 term. The decree was read by Nanik Purwanti, Deputy for Civil Service Administration at the Ministry of State Secretariat.

Following the reading of the decree, President Prabowo administered the oath of office to the newly appointed officials.

“I swear that I will remain faithful to and uphold the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945, and that I will carry out all laws and regulations as truthfully as possible, for the sake of my service to the nation and the state,” recited the President, dictating the oath of office.

After the oath-taking, President Prabowo affixed the rank insignia to the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua for the 2025–2030 term. The two officials then signed the minutes of the inauguration.

The event concluded with congratulations extended by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, followed by other attending guests. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the speakers and deputy speakers of state institutions, ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet (Kabinet Merah Putih), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Commander, General Agus Subiyanto, and the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. ***
