Lomba Line Dance, Papua Raih Perunggu Line Dance Competition, Papua Won Bronze Medal
Kontingen Provinsi Papua kembali mempersembahkan satu medali perunggu pada ajang Festival Olahraga Rekreasi Nasional (Fornas) VI 2022, di Mall Opi Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, Senin (3/7/2022). The Papua Province contingent again presented a bronze medal at the VI National Recreational Sports Festival2022 (Fornas), at Opi Mall Palembang, South Sumatra, Monday (3/7/2022).
PALEMBANG - Kontingen Provinsi Papua kembali mempersembahkan satu medali perunggu pada ajang Festival Olahraga Rekreasi Nasional (Fornas) VI 2022, di Mall Opi Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, Senin (3/7/2022).
Medali perunggu diraih dari lomba line dance kategori 41 tahun ke atas dengan poin 147.
Sementara medali emas diraih Jawa Timur dan perak oleh Provinsi Banten.
Ketua ILDI Papua Vince Rumaropen usai pertandingan mengaku bangga dengan hasil yang diraih ILDI Papua. Dimana keikutsertaan kali ini merupakan yang pertama di ajang tingkat nasional Fornas.
"Hasil hari ini sangat membanggakan. Meski meraih medali perunggu, saya sebagai ketua ILDI Papua merasa bangga sebab kami hanya berlatih selama enam bulan”.
"Dimana lomba line dance ini diikuti seluruh provinsi di Indonesia, namun puji Tuhan kami dapat memperoleh hasil yang sangat luar biasa,"jelasnya.
Sementara Instrstruktur ILDI Papua Anita, tidak bisa menyembunyikan rasa harunya setelah timnya berhasil meraih medali perunggu.
"Walaupun kami hanya diberikan waktu latihan cukup singkat, tapi teman-teman yang mempercayakan saya sebagai pelatih. Dan ini adalah hasil yang sangat baik,” kata dia.
Kedepan, dirinya berharap para pegiat ILDI Papua terus bekerja keras untuk bisa meningkatkan prestasinya. ***

The bronze medal was won from the Line Dance competition in the category of 41 years and above with 147 points.
Meanwhile, the gold medal was won by East Java and silver by Banten Province.
The Chairman of ILDI Papua, Vince Rumaropen after the match admitted that he was proud of the results achieved by ILDI Papua. The participation this time is the first in the national level event for Fornas.
"The result today is very proud. Even though I won the bronze medal, I as the chairman of ILDI Papua feel proud because we only trained for six months".
"The Line Dance competition was attended by all provinces in Indonesia, but praise be to God we were able to get very extraordinary results," she explained.
Meanwhile, dance teacher of ILDI Papua, Anita, could not hide her emotion after her team won the bronze medal.
"Although we were only given a fairly short training time, they entrusted me as a coach. And this is a good result," she said.
In the future, she hopes that ILDI Papua activists will continue to work hard to improve their achievements. ***
