Hadiri Rakornas Pengendalian Inflasi, PJ Gubernur Papua : Presiden Jokowi Apresiasi Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah

JAKARTA -  Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Papua, Ridwan Rumasukun menghadiri Rapat Koordinasi Nasional Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah tahun 2024 di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Jumat (14/6/2024).

Rapat tersebut dipimpin Presiden Joko Widodo Presiden Joko Widodo serta dihadiri sejumlah menteri terkait.

Dalam arahannya, Rumasukun menyatakan Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Tim Pengendali Inflasi Pusat dan Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah.

"Tadi Pak Presiden menyampaikan apresiasi kepada kami yang sudah bekerja keras, yang sudah berusaha keras, untuk mengendalikan inflasi. Pak Presiden minta jangan lengah karena yang terakhir di bulan Mei lalu inflasi Indonesia berada di 2,84 persen," kata Rumasukun di Istana Negara. 

Apresiasi ini tentunya menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri bagi Pemprov Papua,  mengingat saat ini provinsi induk di bumi cenderawasih itu masuk dalam 10 provinsi yang tingkat inflasinya terendah. 

Terhitung  Mei 2023 hingga Mei 2024, inflasi Provinsi Papua mengalami penurunan dari 2,39 persen menjadi 2,18 persen. 

"Ini suatu capaian baik dari kami (Provinsi Papua) karena bisa menekan angka inflasi," ucap Rumasukun.

Atas capaian penurunan inflasi,  Rumasukun pun meminta para Pj bupati, pj wali kota dan Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID) untuk tetap solid dalam bekerjasama dan berkolaborasi mempertahankan angka inflasi yang stabil ini. 

"Kita semua tetap berkolaborasi dan sinergi dengan stakeholder, karena ini yang akan memudahkan kita untuk menghadapi tantangan dalam menangani inflasi," ujarnya. 

Selain memberikan arahan soal penanganan inflasi, sambung Rumasukun, bahwa Presiden Jokowi juga meminta para penjabat kepala daerah untuk tetap semangat menjalankan masa tugasnya hingga tiga bulan ke depan. 

"Tadi beliau (Presiden Jokowi) minta untuk kita semua (penjabat kepala daerah) tetap semangat di sisa waktu tiga bulan masa jabatan ini," tandas Rumasukun. 

Sekadar diketahui Presiden Joko Widodo dan  Gubernur Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo,  menghadiri Rakornas Pengendalian Inflasi 2024 sekaligus penyerahan TPID Award 2024 yang berlangsung di Istana Negara, Jumat pagi. ***

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of Papua, Ridwan Rumasukun attended the 2024 National Coordination Meeting of the Regional Inflation Control Team at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday (14/6/2024).

The meeting was chaired by President Joko Widodo, and attended by some related ministers.

In his direction, Rumasukun stated that President Jokowi expressed his gratitude to the Central Inflation Control Team and the Regional Inflation Control Team.

"Earlier, the President expressed his appreciation to those of us who have worked hard, who have tried hard, to control inflation. The President asked not to let his guard down because Indonesia's inflation was at 2.84 percent at the end of last May," said Rumasukun at the State Palace.

This appreciation is certainly a matter of pride for the Papua Provincial Government, considering that currently the main province in the land of paradise is included in the 10 provinces with the lowest inflation rate.  

From May 2023 to May 2024, inflation in Papua Province decreased from 2.39 percent to 2.18 percent.

"This is a good achievement from us (Papua Province) because it can reduce the inflation rate," said Rumasukun.

For the achievement of reducing inflation, Rumasukun also asked the Acting Regents, Acting Mayors and the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) to keep solid in working together and collaborating to maintain this stable inflation rate.

"We all continue to collaborate and synergize with stakeholders because it will make it easier for us to face challenges in dealing with inflation," he said.

In addition to providing direction on handling inflation, Rumasukun continued, President Jokowi also asked acting regional heads to remain enthusiastic about carrying out their term of office for the next three months.

"Earlier, he (President Jokowi) asked all of us (acting regional heads) to remain enthusiastic in the remaining three months of this term," said Rumasukun.
