World Walking Day di Papua Diikuti 2.500 Peserta World Walking Day In Papua Attended By 2,500 Participants
Sekitar 2.500 peserta yang terdiri dari ASN, TNI-Polri, BUMN/BUMD dan masyarakat, mengikuti peringatan hari jalan kaki sedunia atau world walking day. Around 2,500 participants consisting of State Civil Apparatus, Indonesian National Army- Police of the Republic of Indonesia, State-Owned Enterprises/Regional Owned Enterprises and the public, took part in the commemoration of world walking day.
JAYAPURA - Sekitar 2.500 peserta yang terdiri dari ASN, TNI-Polri, BUMN/BUMD dan masyarakat, mengikuti peringatan hari jalan kaki sedunia atau world walking day.
Agenda dunia tersebut digelar Pemerintah Provinsi Papua, mengambil start dan finish di Kantor Gubernur Papua, Jl. Soa Siu Dok II, Kota Jayapura, Jumat (4/10/2024).
Penjabat Gubernur Papua, Ramses Limbong mengharapkan agenda tersebut dapat memperkuat sinergitas semua pihak di Papua. Mulai dari masyarakat, TNI-Polri, ASN dan pihak BUMN/BUMD.
"Tujuan kita ini bersama-sama bergembira, jadi ada kegembiraan ketika berolahraga bersama. Semua kita libatkan supaya kita menjadi satu, dengan begitu terjalin kerjasama dan terwujudnya Pilkada Papua aman dan damai," ujar Ramses.
Peringatan Hari Jalan Kaki Sedunia diawali dengan jalan santai, lalu dilanjutkan senam bersama dan diakhiri pembagian doorprize.
Adapun kegiatan ini digelar juga untuk menyemarakan HUT ke-79 TNI, sekaligus membangun kebersamaan menuju Pilkada Damai.
Sementara terkait peringatan HUT TNI, Ramses berpesan kepada seluruh prajurit TNI di Papua untuk bekerja dengan hati. Prajurit TNI, lanjutnya, juga harus bisa selalu bersama-samam dengan rakyat.
"Kalau dilakukan, saya yakin Papua akan aman dan damai. Selamat HUT ke-79 TNI, semoga TNI tetap jaya dan dicintai rakyat Papua," tandasnya. ***

The commemoration of World Walking Day began with a fun walk, then continued with joint gymnastics and ended with the distribution of door prizes.
This activity was also held to enliven the 79th Anniversary of the Indonesian National Army, as well as to build togetherness towards the Peaceful Regional Elections.
Meanwhile, regarding the commemoration of the Indonesian National Army Anniversary, Ramses advised all National Army in Papua to work with their hearts. The Indonesian Army, he continued, must also be able to always be together with the people.
