Bapenda Papua : Realisasi PKB Agustus Meningkat 100 Persen

JAYAPURA - Badan Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Papua merilis realisasi penerimaan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) pada Agustus 2022, meningkat dua kali lipat dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Dimana realisasinya mencapai Rp35,9 miliar.

Hal ini disampaikan Kepala Badan Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah (Bappenda) Provinsi Papua, Setyo Wahyudi di Jayapura, Selasa (13/9/2022). 

Kendati demikian, Setyo memastikan peningkatan realisasi PKB pada Agustus 2022 sedikit banyak dipengaruhi oleh program penghapusan denda pajak yang diberlakukan oleh pemerintah provinsi. 

"Sebelum ada program pembebasan denda pajak itu biasanya penerimaan PKB sekitar Rp14 miliar sampai dengan Rp17 miliar. Setelah ada program pembebasan pajak meningkat 100 persen. Tentunya kita sampaikan terima kasih kepada pemilik kendaraan yang telah melakukan pembayaran pajak kendaraannya," terang ia.

Sementara untuk realiasi penerimaan PKB sejak awal September 2022 hing saat ini, kata Setyo, telah mencapai Rp9 miliar. Dia berharap, realisasi PKB di September hingga di Oktober 2022, meningkat sebagaimana di Agustus lalu. 

"Program pembebasan denda PKB ini berlangsung sejak Agustus sampai Oktober nanti. Mudah-mudahan masyarakat terus memanfaatkan program relaksasi ini dan membayar pajak kendaraanya".

"Tapi secara umum realisasi penerimaan PKB Papua masih dibawah target yang dibebankan negara. Contohnya pada Agustus lalu, realisasi PKB masih sekitar 63 persen dari target 66,5 persen. Artinya penerimaan PKB ini memang masih dibawah target, walaupun ada lonjakan penerimaan di Agustus. Pada September ini pun target PKB sebesar 75 persen, sehingga harapannya paling tidak dengan program relaksasi ini bisa capai target," tandasnya. ***

JAYAPURA - The Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bapenda) of Papua released the realization of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) revenue in August 2022, a double increase compared to the previous month. The realization reached IDR 35.9 billion.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bappenda) of Papua Province, Setyo Wahyudi in Jayapura, Tuesday (13/9/2022).

Nevertheless, Setyo ensured that the increase in PKB realization in August 2022 was influenced by the tax penalty elimination program imposed by the provincial government. 

"Before a tax penalty exemption program, PKB revenues were around IDR 14 billion to IDR 17 billion. Once there is a tax exemption program it increases by 100 percent. Of course, we would like to thank the vehicle owners who have made their vehicle tax payments," he explained.

Meanwhile, the realization of PKB revenues since the beginning of September 2022 until now, said Setyo, has reached IDR 9 billion. He hopes that the realization of PKB in September to October 2022, will increase as much as last August.

"The PKB fine exemption program will last from August to October. Hopefully, people will continue to take advantage of this relaxation program and pay their vehicle tax".

"But in general, the realization of PKB revenue in Papua is still under the target charged by the state. For example, last August, the realization of PKB was still around 63 percent of the target of 66.5 percent. This means that the acceptance of this PKB is still under the target, even though there was a surge in admissions in August. In September, the PKB target is 75 percent, so the hope is that at least with this relaxation program, we can achieve the target," he said. ***
