Pemprov Papua beri Diskon Pembayaran PKB

JAYAPURA - Setelah menerbitkan kebijakan penghapusan denda Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB), Pemerintah Provinsi Papua kembali membuat terobosan baru bagi pengguna kendaraan roda dua dan empat. 

Kali ini, lewat pemberian diskon atau keringanan pokok Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) bagi wajib pajak. Dimana kebijakan ini berlaku pada November sampai dengan Desember 2022.

“Program penghapusan denda PKB kita perpanjang hingga Desember 2022. Bahkan ada program tambahan dimana nanti ada pemberian diskon untuk pokok pajak PKB,” terang Kepala Badan Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah Provinsi Papua, Setyo Wahyudi, di Jayapura, Rabu (2/11/2022). 

Sementara terkait program diskon pokok PKB, bagi penunggak PKB selama 4 tahun, diberi keringanan potongan satu tahun. 

Kemudian penunggak PKB tiga tahun, diberi diskon 25 persen, sedangkan penunggak PKB dua tahun mendapat diskon 15 persen.

“Intinya program ini kita buat tujuannya untuk meringankan beban masyarakat yang daya belinya agak sedikit menurun akibat dampak dari inflasi”.

“Sehingga dengan keringanan ini, wajib pajak masih punya kemampuan dan kemauan untuk membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor. Dan dampaknya ke kita adalah PAD meningkat,” terang dia.

Menyoal realisasi penerimaan atau pendapatan saat program penghapusan denda PKB sejak Agustus s/d Oktober, kata Setyo Wahyudi, tercatat mencapai Rp214,1 miliar atau 87,58 persen dari target yang dibebankan negara sebesar Rp244,5 miliar.

Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari penerimaan PKB selama tiga bulan terakhir, animo warga untuk membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor cukup tinggi.

“Sehingga kita merasa perlu menambah waktu relaksasi bahkan programnya kita tambah dengan berikan diskon,” tandasnya. ***

This time, through the provision of discounts of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) for taxpayers. This policy is valid from November to December 2022.

"We extend the PKB fine elimination program until December 2022. There is even an additional program where there will be a discount for the principal of PKB tax," explained the Head of the Papua Province Regional Revenue Management Agency, Setyo Wahyudi, in Jayapura, Wednesday (2/11/2022).

Meanwhile, regarding the discount program, PKB delinquents for four years will be given one year of discount.

Then three-year PKB arrears, will be given a 25 percent discount, while two-year PKB delinquents get a 15 percent discount.

"In essence, we created this program aimed at easing the burden on people whose purchasing power has decreased slightly due to the impact of inflation".

"So with this relief, taxpayers still have the ability and willingness to pay motor vehicle taxes. And the impact on us is that regional revenue increases," he explained.

Regarding the realization of receipts or income during the PKB fine elimination program from August to October, said Setyo Wahyudi, it was recorded at IDR 214.1 billion or 87.58 percent of the state-imposed target of IDR 244.5 billion.

Thus, it can be concluded that from the receipt of PKB over the past three months, the interest of citizens to pay motor vehicle tax is quite high.
