The Papua Provincial Government ensures that 2018 graduates of Civil Servant Candidates, especially teachers and health workers, are still issued the Staffing Master Number (NIP), even if they have not obtained a Registration Certificate (STR) or Certificate of Educator (Serdik).
The situation and condition of Papua Province, which lacks health workers and educators, is a major factor, although Registration Certificate and Certificate of Educator should be one of the requirements to be appointed as civil servants.
"Therefore, we have asked the Minister of RB and BKN so that teachers and health workers who do not have Registration Certificate and Certificate of Educator to keep their Staffing Master Numbers published firstly.
"The Letter of the Governor of Papua has been delivered, and we are confident of getting a response given the current condition of Papua which is understaffed and health," explained the Head of Regional Staffing Agency (BKD) Papua Nicolaus Wenda in Jayapura, Monday (Sept. 21, 2020).
Previously, Nicolaus also confirmed the Papuan Government had proposed the issuance of Staffing Master Number as many as 561 of K2 honorary personnel to the Minister of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform.
The decision is as the result of a meeting of the Head of Papua's Regional Staffing Agency (BKD) with the Regent, Secretary and Head of BKD district/city in Papua, Tuesday (15/9/2020) in Jayapura.
The meeting also followed up with the direction of Papuan Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal, after meeting the Minister of Home Affairs Office, in Jakarta, September 4, 2020.
"A total of 561 K2 honorary degrees have previously been declared qualified when enrolled in Civil Servant Candidates Recruitment formation in 2013. However, it is unable to process the management of Staffing Master Number, as a result of the application that is the place to process data by the National Staffing Agency (BKN), closed".
"So that in this meeting was agreed with the regent, secretary, head of BKD in Papua for us to immediately propose to the Ministry through the Governor of Papua," explained BKD Papua Chief Nicolaus Wenda, after the meeting.
As for K2 honorary personnel who did not pass Civil Servant Candidates registration formation 2013, added Nicolaus, it was agreed that BKD in Papua conducts re-logging.
