JAYAPURA - A total of 2,707 (86 percent) of the 2,950 K2 honorees were confirmed to take the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) exam on August 30, 2022 to September 3, 2022, at the Regional Office IX of BKN Jayapura.

Regional Secretary of Papua, M. Ridwan Rumasukun asked all test participants to remain confident in participating in CAT. Meanwhile, for those who have not mastered the operation of the computer, they are asked to practice before the implementation of CAT, tomorrow.

"You have to be confident to be able to take the CAT exam. So for those who are not yet proficient in computers, they have to practice continuously. Congratulations on taking the CAT exam tomorrow," explained the Regional Secretary when giving directions to thousands of K2 honorees at the GOR Cenderawasih, Monday (29/8/2022).

Meanwhile, for the 14 percent of honorary workers who have not taken the test, the Regional Secretary asked to be patient while waiting for the second phase of the test.

"There is a second phase for the remaining 14 percent. Later, verification will be carried out to participate in the next test," he said.

It is known that the implementation of the CAT exam for K2 honorary workers and contract workers lasted for five days at Kantor Regional BKN Jayapura, Jalan Baru, Abepura.

A total of 2707 CAT exam participants were divided into 4 sessions every day, of which 1 session was 150 participants. The implementation of the test will be monitored directly by officials of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) from Jakarta.

"The exam takes 110 minutes for Basic Competency Selection or SKD and Field Competency Selection or SKB. We expect time discipline for each participant. You have to be present one hour before the selection because there is a registration process," said the Head of Regional Office IX of the Jayapura National Civil Service Agency (BKN), Sabar Parlindungan Sormin.

Coordinator of the Papua Province Honorary Communication Forum (FKHPP), Frist Awom expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Governor of Papua and the Papua Regional Secretary, the Papua BKD and the Jayapura BKN for the process that is now being achieved.

"We also ask the 14 percent who have not passed this first stage to be sure that they can be accommodated in the second stage. We also ask the exam committee to pay special attention to the participants with disabilities to get special facilities, they are disabled, blind and deaf," he concluded. ***
