Papua Governor Lukas Enembe launched three books at once titled "Membuat Lurus Soal Otonomi Khusus” (Making Straight About Special Autonomy), "Torang Bisa PON XX SUPREMASI DAN KEMULIAAN PAPUA”(Torang Bisa PON XX SUPREMACY AND GLORY OF PAPUA) and “Jatuh Bangun Lukas Enembe: Merakit Kisah, Membongkar Fakta Gubernur Papua”(Falling awake of Lukas Enembe: Assembling Stories, Dismantling the Facts of the Governor of Papua).
The first and second books were written by Governor Lukas, while the last was by Acting Head of Papua General Bureau Elpius Hugi.
The book launch ceremony was held virtually, on Monday (7/26/2021), in Jayapura.
"Finally, on this day Monday, July 26, 2021 by offering Praise to God I officially launched 3 books. Hopefully this book becomes a reference in the implementation of government and development, especially in Papua and in Indonesia generally".
"This book deserves to be a reading material for all of us, especially for the future leaders in Papua in realizing the expectations of all people in the future," Lukas said.
The Governor added that Papua province does not only need smart, visionary and innovative leaders. The most important thing is to have a strong leader, dare to defend the truth, be consistent, be inspiring, side with the community and fear God.
"Changing Papua cannot be by thinking, working and acting mediocrely. Change requires people who think visionary, work with heart and act strategically with sincere devotion, eradicating society from the shackles of incompetence".
"That's why I encourage Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) leaders and the entire State Civil Apparatus (ASN) ranks, to dare to work out of the box. This is what I call working in a "crazy" way. All this is solely to ensure that Papuan change can be witnessed together in a short time," he said.
In addition to launching the book, at the momentum of the same activity, COVID-19 assistance funds were also handed over to hospitals and partner hospitals worth a total of IDR 10 billion.
The handover of aid funds by the Assistant for Economic Affairs and Welfare of the People of the Papuan Secretary, Muhammad Musa'ad represented the Governor.
