JAYAPURA - Papua Provincial Governor Lukas Enembe encouraged government agencies to make continuous bureaucratic improvements, so that the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will be more professional.
These improvements, as the result of the evaluation of the implementation of bureaucratic reforms that have been running in Papua, to support the realization of classy bureaucracy in 2024.
"But this improvement will not only be on the architecture of human capital which can accelerate the transformation of State Civil Apparatus in Papua".
"Also against the change in the mindset and leadership of ASN both from the stakeholder level of the primary high leadership and the functional position of policy analysis," explained the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, in written remarks read by the Assistant for General Affairs of the Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur, on leadership training and competency development of primary high leadership stakeholders and functional positions of policy analysis in the local government environment, Monday (5/23/2022), in Jayapura.
Furthermore, Lukas said, the main target of bureaucratic improvement is aimed at making efforts to change the mindset of State Civil Apparatus in order to have a more professional way of working.
On the other hand, so that the bureaucracy is more oriented to performance and public services and institutional governance improvements including, digital transformation.
"Also of course, deregulation of policies to increase human resources professionalism and the effectiveness of internal supervision".
"So that through the improvement of this main target, it is expected to be able to have an impact on the assessment and quality of bureaucratic reforms in the Papua Provincial Government," he said.
Added the Governor, the development process in Papua requires a special assignment to the available human resources apparatus so that it can distribute talent with the division of tasks and functional / professional workloads.
Thus, to overcome the problems of the development process and improve the welfare of the people in Papua, the Papua Provincial Government carries out leadership training activities and competency development for government officials.
"So that through this activity, it is expected to improve the abilities and insights of the participants, namely the Head of Work Unit (SKPD), Expert Staff, Assistant of Regional Secretariat and Policy Analysts to always be ready to work and carry out their duties systematically, organized and professionally responsible".
"The results of this activity are expected to provide additional competence for State Civil Apparatus and become a clean, effective, professional and serving bureaucracy," he said. ***
