JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government held a training on the host and public speaking for civil apparatus (ASN) in the local area, Tuesday (5/24/2022), in Jayapura.

The two-day activity was attended by the heads of sections and subsection heads of public relations protocols from 29 city districts, women's organizations and National Armed Forces/Police of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Governor of Papua through the Functional Officer of Papua Provincial Policy Analyst, Anni Rumbiak hopes that through the training, it can improve the competence of human resources, both at the provincial and district / city levels.

Anni also left three things that must be understood by public relations protocol officers in Papua. First, it is mandatory to understand the main tasks and their functions.

Second, mastering the placement layout in an event, such as the sitting location of officials according to the rules. And third, routinely improve the quality of human resources of each protocol officer, in order to support the smooth running of leadership tasks.

"Because without these three things, protocol officers will not be able to carry out their duties properly and smoothly," he said.

Head of the Papua Provincial Protocol Sub-Event Section, Rina Soro hopes that through the training, it can realize coordination and synchronization of activity programs between provincial and district / city governments and Regional Unit Work.

"So that in the future it can create good protocol procedures and encourage the improvement of government apparatus throughout Papua," he said. ***
