JAYAPURA - The revitalization process of the Papua Provincial Platform at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMMII) has been completed. The Papua platform is now ready to be visited by G20 participants, after being inaugurated by the Regional Secretary of Papua M. Ridwan Rumasukun, Saturday (1/9/2022).
"The Papua Platform is now ready to be visited by G20 participants, because it was inaugurated by the Regional Secretary a day ago. He was accompanied by the Head of the Papua Liaison Service, Alexander Kapisa".
"The inauguration of the Papua Platform yesterday was marked by the pressing of the siren button accompanied by the opening of the Papuan platform nameplate," explained the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Department, Jeri A. Yudianto, in Jayapura, Sunday (2/10/2022).
Meanwhile, for the culmination of the revitalization inauguration event, said Jeri, Ridwan was treated to Bakar Batu attraction which is a traditional ceremonial usually carried out at official government events.
The Regional Secretary, according to Jeri, hopes that the existence of the Papua platform can support the visit of the delegation of G20 participants in November 2022 which is also centered at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
The Papua platform in TMMII is built on an area of 2,500 square meters. The process of revitalizing the Papua platform costs around IDR 1.5 billion, which is more about arranging and filling a number of rooms with nuances of the customs of 5 local customary areas. ***
