JAYAPURA - Daily Executive of Papua Governor Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun received a working visit from Acting Governor of Mountains Papua Nikolaus Kondomo, in Jayapura, Monday (30/1/2023).
The working visit was more about the friendship between the two leaders, but also discussed budgeting issues, assets and other related matters.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Department, Jeri A. Yudianto, to reporters.
Meanwhile, Acting Governor Kondomo appreciated the meeting. He hopes that through the meeting, a synergy can be built for the progress of governance and future development.
"We have a friendship with Papua province as the main province, there are several things that we discussed together related to the implementation of the government that is in line. There are authorities managed by the main province as well as us in the new province, so we come to collaborate and discuss together what the next steps are. Because we want to ensure that the government administration can run well," he explained.
Meanwhile, Regional Secretary of Mountains Papua Province, Sumule Tumbo said that in the meeting, the transfer of State Civil Apparatus personnel from the main province to Mountains Papua Province was also discussed.
"We have coordinated with the main province, the handover of personnel (ASN) will be carried out, including the development program carried out by the main province in the Mountains Papua Province. We want valid data so that it becomes the basis for allocating a budget that is right on target and appropriate, to provide services to the community," he explained.
Sumule added that the presence of the Mountains Papua Province received full support from traditional leaders, religions and local community leaders. The Mountains Papua Provincial Government got an area of 72 hectares for the construction of the Mountains Papua Governor office.
"The handover of land from the five tribes for the construction of the Mountains Papua Governor office is free of charge, but the request of the community who owns customary rights so that their children must be recruited into State Civil Apparatus in every government agency," he said. ***
