JAYAPURA - The Daily Executive (Plh) of Papua Governor Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun appealed to all people to maintain harmony ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H.
This was conveyed by Governor Ridwan on one occasion in Jayapura, Monday.
According to Ridwan, maintaining harmony is important to create a sense of brotherhood and peace in Papua.
"Because by maintaining harmony as well, regional security and order can continue to be maintained," he explained.
Meanwhile, the State Civil Apparatus of the Papua Provincial Government will get Eid holiday and joint leave on April 19-25 2023.
Ridwan also appealed to all civil servants in Papua not to increase the Eid holiday because the joint leave time given was long enough.
"We hope all civil servants can pay attention to the holiday deadline, then immediately go to work at the specified time so that government services continue to run optimally after Eid al-Fitr later," he hoped.
Similarly, the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Department Jeri A. Yudianto conveyed.
He said, based on the direction of the central government related to the long Eid holiday, the Papua Provincial Government did not add more leave time.
"We have also distributed circulars to all agencies. It must be a concern so there are no more civil servants who add vacation time," he said. ***
