"The export of Fish & other Aquatic Animals (HS03) worth US $ 0.12 million and Other Non-Oil and Gas Exports worth US $ 4.44 million which are sent directly from ports in Papua," explained Adriana in Jayapura, Tuesday.
In contrast to exports, Papua import was recorded at USD 46.85 million in July 2023, an increase of 55.77 percent when compared to June 2023 of USD 30.07 million.
"Consisting of 10 major non-oil and gas groups in July 2023, it was recorded at USD 23.68 million, an increase of 32.04 percent compared to June 2023 of USD 17.93 million," she said.
It is known that the export to other countries is worth US $ 5.90 million in July 2023. Meanwhile, the revenue from the seven major countries in July 2023 was recorded at USD 37.81 million, an increase of 53.62 percent compared to June 2023 of USD 24.61 million.
The three largest suppliers of goods to Papua in July 2023 are Australia worth US$ 24.61 million (52.54 percent), Singapore worth US$ 9.64 million (20.57 percent), and Malaysia with imports worth US$ 8.86 million (18.92 percent). ***
