JAYAPURA - The implementation of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2023 in Eastern Indonesia, which falls on December 9, 2023, will be centered at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency.
The Acting Governor of Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun had previously formed the Road to Hakordia 2023 Committee, to prepare the implementation which will be attended by 11 provinces in eastern Indonesia.
"It is likely that a total of 2,750 participants from 11 provinces will be present at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, include Bali, NTT, NTB to provinces throughout Papua," explained Special Assistant Inspector at the Papua Inspectorate, Danny Korwa in Jayapura, Tuesday (10/31/2023).
While heading to the peak of the Hakordia 2023 event, the Papua Provincial Government will hold a series of activities involving various agencies in the local area. It begins with a talk show related to the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP), Integrity Assessment Survey and others.
"Then there is also the Wholesale Market Fun Walk activity at the Papua Autonomous Office, Kotaraja. This activity will be held in early December which will be handled by State Owned Enterprises and Regional Owned Enterprises in Papua,"he said.
In addition to Papua Province, Aceh Province is a place of commemoration for the Western region of Indonesia.
Road to Hakordia in 2023 carries the theme "Synergy to Eradicate Corruption for Advanced Indonesia". This theme means that Indonesia must move forward together to realize an advanced anti-corruption country.
