JAYAPURA - Acting Regional Secretary of Papua Derek Hegemur ensures that the draft General Budget Policy (KUA) Priority Temporary Budget Ceiling (PPAS) 2024 l, in line with the central government's program.
Among them are supplementary food programs and clean and healthy lifestyles to reduce stunting, reduce open unemployment, and others.
"The draft of the 2024 KUA PPAS for Papua Province still focuses on education, health, community economic empowerment, in addition to infrastructure related to connectivity to support interrelated programs."
"But all programs in the 2024 KUA PPAS draft remain in line with the central program," explained Derek in Jayapura, Friday (11/3/2023).
According to Derek, the Papua Provincial Government was still compiling the KUA PPAS document. The preparation of the document will be completed within this month.
"Moreover, the discussion of this document has also been carried out internally with the relevant Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD). Currently, each OPD is entering documents into its system."
"Then if it has been inputted in the system, then we will start conducting internal meetings to ensure that the programs and activities are in accordance with the plans made," he hoped.
Derek on that occasion encouraged all OPD to support the process of drafting the KUA PPAS until its discussion and determination in the Papuan People’s Representative Council (DPRP).
"Because there are still many stages to be passed then these documents will be evaluated. In addition, it is also refined in accordance with input and suggestions given by various parties, such as the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) and the community," he said. ***
