JAYAPURA - In addition to Keerom Regency, Acting Governor Rumasukun also visited Kayo Pulau Village, Jayapura City, and met the government and local community.
He thanked Jayapura government which had worked hard to reduce the stunting ratein the capital of Papua Province, from 20 percent to 10 percent.
"Our task is to reduce stunting in provincial capitals. Indeed, we encourage it from now on but the results will be in the next 30 years. Remember my words, there will be a mayor from Kayo Island Village."
"For that we must collaborate. We can do it, although this is a small thing but will succeed if done together, the stunting rate will be reduced by zero percent," said Governor Rumasukun to applause from the government and Kayo Pulau residents.
While on a visit to Keerom Regency and Jayapura City, the Acting Governor of Rumasukun handed over food packages, medicines, reading books, seeds, processing equipment and food reserves for families at risk of stunting as much as 54 tons.
In addition, there is cash assistance for a number of mosques and churches as well as clean and healthy lifestyle packages for families at risk of stunting. ***
